Expression And Clinical Significance Of Neuritin Protein In Non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma

Objective:To investigate the expression levels of neuritin protein in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC) and para-cancerous tissues and their relationship with clinical pathological features and prognosis.Methods:87 cases of NSCLC tissues and 87 cases of adjacent tissues were collected from our hospital.The expression of Neuritin in cancer tissue and adjacent tissue were detect by immunohistochemical SP method, and the expression level was divided into low expression and high expression level according to the two-grade score.The relationship between the expression level of Neuritin protein and clinical pathological parameters(pathological type,differentiation,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,EGFR and other) were analyzed.Results:1)The positive paticles of Neuritin was located in the cytoplasm.2)The expression of Neuritin protein in NSCLC tissues was75.86%(66/87),higher than 31.03%(27/87)of para-carcinoma tissues(P<0.05). 3)The expression of Neuritin protein in NSCLC was related to pathological type,differentiation,tumor size,EGFR(P<0.05);and has no relationship with gender,age,smoking history,tumo rlocation and lymph node metastasis(P>0.05).4)The progression free survival(PFS) of 84 cases was 16 months in the Neuritin high expression group,which was no statistically significant with 13 months in the low expression group(P>0.05).5)The median overall survival(OS) of death data was 37 months in the Neuritin high expression group,which was lower than 47 months in the low expression group,but P>0.05.Conclusion: 1.Neuritin protein was expressed both in NSCLC tissues and its para-carcinoma tissues;2.Neuritin protein was highly expressed in NSCLC tissues,and it was related to pathological type,differentiation,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,EGFR of NSCLC.The above results suggest that Neuritin may as a related tumor factor in the process of the occurrence and development of NSCLC.
