Study On Establishing The Training Specification For Aged Care Worker

Objective:To develop a Training Specification for Aged Care Worker to solve the main problems existing in the training of aged care, in order to provide reliable reference foundation for improving orderly the quality of the training of aged care worker in Zhejiang Province.Methods: ① The methods of survey researches and literature materials:based on the literature review to analyze the domestic and foreign related present condition of the standardized training of aged care and the principle of constructing indicators system, on the basis of theory analysis, constructed the theory framework of the Training Specification for Aged Care Worker; ② Expert panel meeting:based on literature review, theoretical study, expert panel meeting were conducted with 13 experts, by analyzing the data together through recording, coding and epurating themes. Then the framework and elements of the specification were identified.③ Delphi method:Finally, Indicators’ system of the training specification were revised and evaluated based on the results of two rounds of Delphi method among 15 experts. Weights are calculated through Delphi expert consultation.Results:① Form the principle of constructing indicator system for the study of the Training Specification for Aged Care Worker. Theoretical framework of the Training Specification is built on the basis of the general system theory and Hammond education evaluation mode theory.② According to organization of expert panel meeting, we obtained the basic elements and formulated the framework of the Training Specification.③ The recovery rate of questionnaires by Delphi method in two rounds was 94.0% and 100%, experts enthusiasm is higher overall.The authority coefficient was 0.867, it can be seen that a high degree of authority of the study, and results are credible and reliable. Kendall’s coefficient of concordance of the importance of all indicator was 0.311 and Kendall’s coefficient of concordance of the operability of all indicators was 0.303, statistically significant(P<0.005) in the second round, explained that expert opinions are consistent and has a higher degree of consistency in the accreditation training specification. The coefficient of variation of the importance of all indicators ranged from 0.00 to 0.01 and the coefficient of variation of the operability of all indicators ranged from 0.00 to 0.12 in the second round. Importance and operability assigned mean were> 3.5,coeffcient of variation< 0.25, The satisfaction indictor system consisted of 11 first-level indicators,31 second-level indicators and 50 third-level indicators.Conclusion: ① The structure and contents of theoretical model of the Training Specification built on the basis of the general system theory and Hammond education evaluation mode theory is reasonable.②　The indicator system and weights of the Training Specification for Aged Care Worker are scientific because they are determined by expert panel meeting and Delphi expert consultation.The results is reliable and reasonable.The Training Specification for Aged Care Worker is important in implementing standardized training and improving the quality the Training of aged care worker in zhejiang province.
