| Objective This study was aimed to observe the effect of TCM syndromes and pulmonary function of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients in paracmasis with asthenia of pulmonosplenic qi syndromes by using Shenqiyifei syrup.Method This study would meet the inclusion criteria of 60 patients and divide into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group by using randomized controlled single blind design methods. the patients were given TCM syndrome score with the observation index of lung spleen qi deficiency syndrome in 10 items of Chinese Medicine to confirm that the two groups can be compared before clinical observation, the control group was given conventional treatment of Western medicine, the treatment group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine of Shenqiyifei syrup based on the control group. After 3 months of clinical observation, they were given TCM syndrome score again. Finally, this study analyzed the influence of TCM syndromes and lung function of the two groups.Result In the treatment group, 10 TCM syndromes were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05). In addition to cough, expectoration, shortness of breath and wheezing, 4 syndrome control group significantly improved than before treatment(P<0.05), there were no significant differences in the remaining6 symptoms. The treatment group compared with the control group, expectoration, spontaneous sweating, aversion to wind, fatigue, anorexia, abdominal distension, diarrhea 7 TCM syndromes had improved significantly(P<0.05), and the remaining three syndrome without obvious difference. The total efficiency of treatment group was 85.19%, while the control group was 53.57%, there were significant differences(P<0.05), proved out the treatment group was better than the control group. FEV1%and FEV1/FVC pulmonary function before treatment in two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant. After 3 months, the treatment group and the control group were statistically significant(P<0.05), the control group and the treatment group were compared, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。Conclusion Shenqiyifei sirup could obviously improve the lung and spleen deficiency syndrome of stable COPD patients, expectoration, spontaneous sweating, aversion to wind, fatigue, anorexia, abdominal distension, diarrhea and other symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. Shenqiyifei sirup could ameliorate pulmonary function in patients with lung spleen deficiency type COPD stable stage. In the short term, there was no obvious toxic side-effects. It showed that Shenqiyifei sirup combined with western medicine has obvious advantages compared with the traditional western medicine, and it was worth to be popularized in clinical practice. |
