Efficacy Evaluation Of Endovascular Interventional Treatment For Posterior Circulation Aneurysms

Objective: Analyzing the characteristics of intracranial posterior circulation aneurys ms and Efficiency evaluation and complications of endovascular interventional treat ment of posterior circulation aneurysms to explore the effectiveness and safety.Met hods: Demographic(ethnic,gender,age)and clinical characteristics(history of hypertensi on,history of diabetes,smoking history, drinking history),clinical symptoms,admission hunt-Hess grade,modified Fisher grade,location,number and morphology of the ane urysm)were collected from 71 patients presenting with intracranial posterior circulati on aneurysm at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University betwee n January,2012 and September,2015.T-test and chi-square test were performed to i dentify the effectiveness of endovascular treatment.Results: 62(87.3%)of 71 patients with favorable outcome(mRS score in 0~2),minutes of the total number of 62%,di scharge mRS score at 0~2 points,accounting for 87.3% of the total.There were sign ificant differences in mRS scores between at admission and discharge(2? =12.06;P=0.001).Conclusion: Endovascular treatment of intracranial posterior circulation aneu rysms is a safe and effective treatment,and with a favorable outcome.Parent artery occlusion have a highest rate of complete embolism,followed by issimple spring coi l embolization. First time complete embolization can reduce the recurrence rate an d postoperative rebleeding for the posterior circulation aneurysm. Endovascular ope ration time, intraoperative blood pressure and brain tissue ischemia time, intraoperat ive medication options are related to intervention related complications.
