The Clinical Effective Observation Of Mild To Moderate Classical Trigeminal Neuralgia Treated By Electroacupunture Combined Drug

Objective:Through the dense wave electroacupuncture combined with Western medicine treatment of mild and moderate primary trigeminal neuralgia Clinical efficacy of this therapy may prove effective in reducing mild to moderate pain of trigeminal neuralgia.Method:The outpatient and inpatient diagnosis and treatment of 90 patients, that is trigeminal neuralgia, seizure frequency less than 20 times, met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into Western medicine, acupuncture and acupuncture and medicine group, three groups 30 cases. Western medicine group was given simple oral carbamazepine (carbamazepine, CBZ) treatment, 0.1g/times,2 times a day,every other day to 0.2g/times,2 times a day, the course is 21 days; the use of acupuncture group under the EA off points for acupuncture treatment, acupuncture wave of dense wave, continuous time 30min,1 times/d,6 days for a course of treatment, rest for one day into the next course of treatment, the course is 21 days; acupuncture group of Western medicine and acupuncture combined treatment group, the course is 21 dayss. In patients before treatment were recorded for each patient in pain (VAS) in each period, Mark Gill simplified questionnaire (the short-form McGill pain after the end of the treatment course questionnaire, SF-MPQ), the number of attacks. Finally, statistical analysis of the three groups observed indicators of changes in the various stages of contrast effect.Result:1 Three groups before treatment,after treatment, respectively in the group, VAS score, Mark Gill simplified questionnaire score, frequency and pain were reduced, showed a significant difference (P <0.05).2 After three groups of patients, the comparison between the two groups,statistical analysis showed significant differences; the acupuncture group and western medicine group comparison analysis of variance P> 0.05, while the acupuncture group and western medicine group, acupuncture group variance analysis and comparison of all P<0.05.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture and medicine group, acupuncture, Western drugs for the treatment of mild to moderate essential trigeminal neuralgia are effective;2.Acupuncture group and Western drug group considerable effect,Acupuncture treatment group better than acupuncture group, western medicine group;3.Study results show that the use of electro-acupuncture combined with Western medicine treatment of mild to moderate idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia more significant effect, can effectively relieve pain, reduce the number of episodes, the patient’s mood has improved, the quality of life improved significantly.
