The Clinical Observation Of Curative Effect Acupuncture On Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy Caused By FOL-FOX4 Regimen

Objective:1.To observe the curative effect of acupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy caused by FOL-FOX4 regimen.Methods:This paper from April 2015 to November 2015,collect from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical medical ward patients.All the patients were randomly assigned into treatment group (acupuncture treatment) and control group (western medicine),30 patients each treatment group.Treatment group was received acupuncture treatment,get Qi for the degree, a total of needle 30 minutes, twist the needle once,14 days a course.The control group was injected cobamamide lmg, once a day,14 days a course. Patient neurotoxicity Questionnaire (PNQ),nerve conduction velocity(NCV) were used to measure and evaluate the effect of acupuncture treatment.Quality of life(QOL)was used to evaluate the improvement of quality of life of patients with Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy caused by FOL-FOX4 regimen.Results:1.On PNQ, The difference of total effective rate between 2 groups in sensory nerve! disorders has statistical significance(P <0.05), acupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy is better than injecting cobamamide.The difference of total effective rate between 2 groups in movement nerve disorders has no statistical significance(P>0.05),acupuncture on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy is not better than injecting cobamamide.2.On NCV,The difference of SCV between 2 groups,before and after treatment compared,in median nerve and sural nerve have statistical significance(P<0.05),The difference of MCV between 2 group,before and after treatment compared,in median nerve and sural nerve have no statistical significance(P>0.05), acupuncture can improve median nerve and sural nerve SCV.3.On QOL, The difference of QOL between 2 groups have statistical significance (P<0.05), Acupuncture can improve QOL,and it is better than control group.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture can significantly improve the chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy caused by FOL-FOX4 regimen,especially sensory disturbances,while improving SCV.2. Acupuncture can significantly improve the quality of life of patients after FOL-FOX4 chemotherapy.
