Research On The Purchasing Process Reengineering Of X Hospital

We are living in an era of economic globalization, information technology and customer supremacy. With the increasing fierce market competition, the distance has disappeared, to innovate or to die. To survive and develop, an organization consistently changes and innovates according to the internal and external environment.Purchasing is a very important process in the production and management. Whether the purchasing process is reasonable or not is crucial to the result of the purchasing. According to the statistics of one hospital, the cost of purchasing medical equipment, agentia, office supply, computer supply, medical consumable material, engineering material and etc. take about 82% of all the expenditures. Therefore, it is very important for the development of the hospital to optimize the purchasing process, so as to reduce the cost, lower the inventory and improve the quality of the product and service level.In this paper, I have used the theory of Business Process Reengineering to analyze the current purchasing process of a hospital and provided a scheme for purchasing process reengineering. And the research contains purchasing organization structure reengineering, budgeting process reengineering, purchasing information releasing process reengineering, purchasing personnel setting process reengineering, purchasing bidding process reengineering, supplier selection process reengineering and material management process reengineering. Through the purchasing process reengineering, we can save the purchasing funds, optimize the purchasing process and make the whole purchasing process smoothly.
