Hospital information management system(HIS)is commonly used in the current hospital service platform, In outpatient section contains several basic function modules like registered module, medical workstation module, charging module, laboratory module,pharmacy module, but they largely are based on the business processes driven by the financial information, and provide less treatment business support to the doctors. Such a process model does not match the treatment business of hospitals well, makes the system platform using in the hospital fit for the administrative requirements much more, and not the business requirements from the doctors and patients, so that means the system using by the hospital can not help the treatment business getting better, In fact it caused the system resources wasting. To solve this problem, we should create a new treatment business object-driven business processes, make the business objects play a main role in the system, build a target system getting fit for their actual business processes in the hospital.In the design, several new business modules like Electronic Medical Record (EMR) module, Electronic account module, Queue system will be introduced into the hospital information system of outpatient service process. To make the EMR module the key of the new business process and get the support from e-account management module as the base of the entire business process deployment to the various departments. By business information acquisition, handling, delivery, query calls, let the treatment business work of hospital run with the information system and achieve the goal that the system process serve for the actual treatment business.International Peace Maternity and Child Health Hospital famous special hospital with top level in China, Because of the patient resources and particularity, the treatment process is fixed and frequently for business information flow and the request is very high. By introducing the new concept of business process into the information system what the hospital using with the several new feature modules, will fit the requirement of actual treatment business well and improve the hospital business quality level and efficiency.
