Effect Of Left Atrial Function By Irbesartan Add To Wenxin Granule In Patients Of Hypertension With Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Objective to observe the effect of irbesartan add to Wenxin Granule on the left atrial function and recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation of the patients who was in hypertension with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.Methods Choosed 60 patients in the Affiliated Hosptial of Chengdu University of TCM Departemnt of cardiology from March 2014 to March 2015.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(irbesartan add to Wenxin Granule)in 30 cases and the control group(single irbesartan) in 30 cases.The course of treatment was 6 mouths to observe before and after treatment in patients with left atrial reservoir function.channel function,booster pump function and palpitations symptom score changes.We also obesrved the recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation frequency and the adverse drug reaction in process at the same time.Results to complete clinical observation of 60 casess,30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.There were not significant changes of each index of left atrial reservoir function.But peak pulmonary venous diastolic flow velocity(PVd) increased compared with the number before treatment,peak transmitral late diastolic flow velocity(A), peak pulmonary venous late diastolic flow velocity(PVa) and left atrial initiative ejection fraction(LAEF) decreased,by statistical analysis(P< 0.05),the difference was significant among them.The improvement of PVd and A in the treatment group was bettter than the control group. Palpitations symptom score of TCM,syndrome in TCM evaluation and the recurrence of paroxysmal atrial fibirillation in the treatment group was better than the control group,by statistical analysis(P<0.05),the difference was significant.Conclusion Irbesartan add to Wenxin Granule could increase left atrial channel function and reduce left atrial initiative ejection fraction.It may reduce the work load of left atrium myocardial.It also could reduce the recurrence of paroxymal atrial fibrillation frequency,improve the quality and the clinical symptoms of patients.There was no stroke.thrombonembolic events and major bleeding with appropriate anticoagulant therapy in a short time.The treatment had good security.
