Objective:To study clinical effects and security of knife acupuncture at Fengchi and Long’s bone-setting manipulations in treatment of cervical headache, and discuss the reason of the differentiation of its curation to provide Theoretical basis。Methods:90 patients with cervical headache were randomly divided into knife acupuncture groups and Long’s bone-setting group,45 cases for each group.7 days time,15 days a course of treatment in knife acupuncture(by knife acupuncting Fengchi to relax).3 days time,15 days as a course in Long’s bone-setting group, the changes such as pain index according to a visual analog scale (VAS) before and after treatment were compared and analyzed.Results:The VAS scores of knife group were significantly lower than those of bone-setting group after 1 week.1 month.3 moth of treatment (P<0.05). It is found the scores of knife group in follow-up 1 month,3 months after treatment decreased significantly than those of 1 week(P<0.05); but there show no significantly difference between one week and 1,3 month after bone-setting manipulations (P> 0.05).Conclusion:knife acupuncture at Fengchi on the treatment of cervical headache had significant clinical effect which can relieve pain to improve the symptoms and show stable efficacy; but The bone-setting group has a downward trend with the extension of time.
