Objective:To study the characteristics of this method and mechanism of treatment for Cervicogenic headache, and to verify the clinical curative effect and advantages of the acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point retaining needle for treating Cervicogenic headache through clinical randomized controlled study, using acupuncture at eight nape points with the head living acupuncture point retaining needle to treat Cervicogenic headache.Method:adopting a randomized controlled trial study method, divide 89 patients with Cervicogenic headache into two groups and observe, including 45 cases in the group of the acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point retaining needle and 44 cases in the group of conventional acupoints acupuncture. The group of the acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point gets the eight nape points (Fengchi, Fengfu, Dazhui, "four nape point") and the head living acupuncture point. The group of conventional acupoints acupuncture takes lesions in neck clip ridge point, Tianzhu, Fengchi, Yuzhen, Lieque, Taichong, Zhulinqi. Every group should takes the treatment for two weeks, one time every other day, three times a week to follow the situation one months after completion of treatment. And then carry the rating for headache VAS and cervical vertebrae ROM, the record of headache duration and headache frequency before treatment,1 weeks after treatment, at the end of treatment and 1 months later, respectively; carry Ridit analysis of curative effect and evaluation of two effective groups 1 weeks after treatment according to the efficacy evaluation criteria assessed at the end of treatment and follow-up results, and then use chi-square test for analysis and comparison, implementing compliance and safety evaluation in final.Consequence:The scores of headache and cervical range of motion of the group of the acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point retaining needle at the end of treatment and in following-up visits are superior to the group of conventional acupoints acupuncture (P<0.05); The total effective rate was 91,11% at the end of the treatment and the total effective rate was 86.67% in following-up visits, the short and long-term results are superior to the group of conventional acupoints acupuncture (P<0.05); The effective rate of the group of the acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point retaining needle is 57.78% one week after treatment, which is 11.36% more than the group of conventional acupoints acupuncture. (P<0.05)Conclusion:The acupuncture at eight nape points with head living acupuncture point can really relieve symptoms of Cervicogenic headache and improve cervical activity significantly. The short-and long-term curative effect is better than that of routine acupuncture treatment, and has high efficiency, work speed, good compliance and safety.
