The Effectiveness Of Sodium Hyaluronate Injections Combined With Acupuncture For The Treatment Of Arthritis Knee

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of the combined acupuncture and sodium hyaluronate injection on knee for the treatment of osteoarthritis patients. Scientific and objective evaluating clinical effect and application value of acupuncture, to improve patient’s life quality,and the effective prevention measures and cure methods. Methods:97 case with knee arthritis from Jan.2012 to Dec.2012 were randomly divided into treatment group(the acupuncture combined sodium hyaluronate)、control groupⅠ(acupuncture)and control groupⅡ(sodium hyaluronate).Observation the clinical effect of the three groups:(1)The knee pain grading;(2)The knee joints function grading;(3)The state of knee grading.(4) The therapeutic result of knee arthritis.(5) The concentration of ESR and CRP with patient(6) Expression of interleukin-1(IL-1) of serum were observed by enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay(ELISA) on pretherapy and post-treatment.(7)Expression of 5-Hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) of serum were observed by enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay(ELISA) on pretherapy and post-treatmeat. To monitor and record the data above, the results were analyzed with at-test using SPSS 13.0. ResultsThe ratings on the knee joint:The knee pain 、joint activity function and state grading of three group without statistical significance befor treatment(P >0.05). Compare with themselves,the knee pain、joint activity function and state grading of three group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05).All of groups,the knee pain、joint activity function and state grading of three group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). The clinical effect of the three groups: Three group of data between a statistically significant difference(P<0.05). The efficiency of treatment group is higher than other groups, the effective number is most. Clinical routine examination results: the concentration of ESR and CRP of three group without statistical significance befor treatment(P>0.05).Compare with themselves,the concentration of ESR and CRP of treatment group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). All of groups,the concentration of ESR and CRP of three group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). Compare with control groupⅠand control groupⅡ, the concentration of ESR and CRP of three groups with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). Cytokine test results: the value of serum levels of IL-1 and 5-HT of three group without statistical significance befor treatment(P >0.05). Compare with themselves,the value of serum levels of IL-1 and 5-HT of treatment group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). All of groups, the value of serum levels of IL-1 and 5-HT of three group with statistical significance after treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion:1.Acupuncture and moxibustion in combination with sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection therapy for knee osteoarthritis pain, the clinical curative effect of functional activity are significant and can reduce the condition of patients with knee osteoarthritis。It is better than simple acupuncture or pure sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection therapy.2. Acupuncture and moxibustion in combination with sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection can effectively reduce the knee osteoarthritis patients serum of IL- 1, 5- HT concentration and inhibit the further development of inflammation, the curative effect is superior to acupuncture or pure sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection therapy.3.Acupuncture and moxibustion in combination with sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection therapy,the clinical curative effect of KOA is better than single acupuncture or knee joint cavity injection of sodium hyaluronate.4.Acupuncture and moxibustion in combination with sodium hyaluronate knee joint cavity injection therapy in the treatment of knee joint, there was no adverse reaction, the therapy is safe and effective.The acupuncture combined sodium hyaluronate injection in treating patients with knee arthritis has good clinical curative effect, can quickly reduce the patient’s joint pain, joint deformities and other clinical symptoms, has a certain clinical significance, is worthy of further promotion.
