Study On Current Disinfection Situation In Oral Cavity Clinics Of Siping City

Objectives To understand the practitioners sterilization knowledge and behavior status of Siping city Dental Clinic oral treatment of disinfection and to analyze the dental clinic existing problem about disinfection management and differences in knowledge and behavior of dental practitioners sterilization. What’s more, in view of the existing problems, we will put forward further specification of Siping city dental clinic disinfection countermeasure and the suggestions and provide the decision-making basis for the management department of Siping city Health administration.Methods The survey method was applied in this research and there were two questionnaires, the first was about the Siping City dental clinic dental sterilization questionnaire, the other one was about the sterilization knowledge and behavior of Siping City dental practitioners.In addition, the survey included 3 Siping City Dental Clinic and 211 dental practitioners. Epi Data3.1 software was used to establish the database and data entry and SPSS18.0 software was used to statistical analysis. Final statistical results and analysis were based on the descriptive statistical analysis. and the statistical tests were used for both sides of the test which inspection level was 0.05.Results(1) This study investigated 33 dental clinics, 27 of which were not classified accounting for 81.82%. Among which, 27 institutions was dental clinics, accounting for 81.82%; 29 medicals’ staff less than 10 people, accounting for 87.88%; 20 institutions with the number of oral dental chair about 1 ~ 2 units, accounting for 60.61%; 24 bodies daily average first diagnosed in patients less than 10 people, accounting for 72.7%. At the same time, this study also investigated 211 oral medical institutions practitioners, including 79 men, accounting for 37.40% and 132 women,accounting for 62.60%. The median age is 31 years old, upper quartile is 26years whhile flower quartiles is 39 years old.(2) There was no significant difference in the construction of disinfection system and facilities in the different nature and level of oral medical institutions(P>0.05). The difference of the different nature and the level of oral medical institutions in the establishment of the disinfection supply center(Department) was significant(P<0.05).(3) There were significant differences in age, gender, occupation, professional title, work seniority,distribution of the engaged work(P<0.05).Different nature of oral medical institutions in the age, gender, occupation, professional title, work seniority,distribution of the engaged work also had statistical significance(P<0.05).(4) The average score of Siping City dental practitioners oral disinfection sterilization knowledge of cognitive was 86.08, median was 9.2 and upper quartile was 80.00 while lower quartile was 92.00. The knowledge cognition score of oral disinfection and sterilization was statistically significant(P<0.05) in the different nature of oral diagnosis and treatment institutions and different levels of oral diagnosis and treatment institutions in age, gender, occupation, professional title, work seniority,distribution of the engaged work(P<0.05).(5) The average score of Siping City dental practitioners sterilization attitude 67.39, median 60.00 and upper quartile was 60.00 while lower quartilt was 80.00. The score of the attitude of disinfection and sterilization was statistically significant(P<0.05) in the distribution of different characteristics of oral cavity, different levels of oral diagnosis and treatment institutions and different professional practitioners.(6) The average score of Siping City dental practitioners protection awareness and knowledge was 85, the median was 90.00 and upper quartile was 80.00 while lower quartile was 90.00. The score of protection awareness and knowledge was statistically significant(P<0.05) in the distribution of different nature hospitals, different levels of oral diagnosis and treatment institutions, different occupations, different titles and different distribution of the engaged work(P<0.05).Conclusions 1. Compared to dental clinics, stomatological hospital and general hospitals of the layout of department are more perfect in Siping city. The majority of hospitals established CSSD. 2. Compared to the unrated dental clinicls, three-level, two-level, one-level dental clinics of the layout of department are more perfect in Siping city. The majority of hospitals established CSSD. 3. Different characters, different levels oral medical institutions of the dental employees have different constituent in Siping city. 4. There were no differences of dental practitioners of different degree among the scores of knowledge about oral disinfection and sterilization of oral disinfection and sterilization, attitude score and the protection awareness and prevention knowledge in Siping city.. 5. There were significant differences of tertiary hospital dental practitioners among the scores of knowledge about oral disinfection and sterilization of oral disinfection and sterilization, attitude score and the protection awareness and prevention knowledge in Siping city.. 6. There were significant differences of dental practitioners of stomatological hospital among the scores of knowledge about oral disinfection and sterilization of oral disinfection and sterilization and the protection awareness and prevention knowledge in Siping city.. 7. There were significant differences of dental practitioners of vice-senior title above among the scores of knowledge about oral disinfection and sterilization of oral disinfection and sterilization and the protection awareness and prevention knowledge in Siping city. 8. There were significant differences of the nurse in the dental institution among the scores of knowledge about oral disinfection and sterilization of oral disinfection and sterilization and the protection awareness and prevention knowledge in Siping city.
