Objective:According to analyzing the influence of electrical stimulation to patient’s electrocardiogram(ECG),to investigate the safety of electrotherapy. Methods:Five different electrical stimulation therapies applied to different patients, including the medium-frequency electrotherapy, the modified electroconvulsive therapy (MECT), the fastigial nucleus stimulation (FNS), the electroacupuncture therapy (EAT), and the neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES). At the same time a consequent record of ECG should be taken, meanwhile we observed the feelings and local damage of the patients.Results:1、ECG of four groups has unchanged obviously including the group of medium-frequency electrotherapy,FNS, EAT and NMES,but all of them show baseline interference waves except the NMES.2、The ECG change rate of MECT is 94.6%, mainly for sinus tachycardia and transient ST-T change.3、All of the patients do not feel uncomfortable, and none of local injury is found during the treatment. Conclusion:Electrical stimulation therapy is a convenient, safe and effective method with less injury, and it’s worth researching and spreading further in the clinical work.
