Objective:To investigate the changes of plasma Nesfatin-1 levels in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome in different periods. Methods:This study was to evaluate the circulating levels of nesfatin-1 and other sex hormones in patients with PCOS (n=30) and controls (n=33). Then compare the levels of plasma nesfatin-1 and FSH, LH T of patients with PCOS (n=20) before and after the treatment (feed with Diane-35 and melbine for two Menstrual cycles). Results:PCOS patients had significantly lower levels of nesfatin-1 (222.42±30.45pg/ml) than healthy controls (470.55±144.94pg/ml). LH and T levels in patients with PCOS were significantly elevated compared with the controls (p<0.05), but TSH, PRL, FSH and E2 levels were not significantly different. Plasma nesfatin-1 levels in women with PCOS feed with Diane-35 and melbine (359.99±59.03) were significantly elevated than before (233.93±55.33). LH and T levels in patients with PCOS feed with Diane-35 and melbine were significantly elevated than before (p<0.05).Conclusion:PCOS patients had significantly lower levels of nesfatin-1 than healthy controls. Plasma nesfatin-1 levels in women with PCOS feed with Diane-35 and melbine were significantly elevated than before. |
