Research Objectives:This study from now bears the responsibility of the hospital nurses in the nursing workload of determination of different departments of hospital reasonable nurse patient ratio, meet the patients’ needs to nursing service and reduce the incidence of nursing adverse events, improve the efficiency of the operation and management of the hospital, for the rational allocation of nursing manpower and control of nursing manpower cost to provide theoretical basis and data support. Research objects and methods:To the nursing workload measurement algorithm as the core research methods. By convenience sampling method to select a three level of first-class general hospital in Changchun City were studied, the nursing workload of the hospital 42 treatment area determination. The nursing staff and patients in our hospital between 2014.11—2015.12 were selected as the research object, the nursing staff inclusion criteria is on-the-job nurses professional qualification duty nurses have been made; to ensure the protection of physical and man hour determination of authenticity and objectivity, all hospitalized patients were included in this study. Through the literature reading method, expert interview method and clinical practice, the direct nursing operation project and the current situation of the indirect nursing operation project were established. To observe the use of average nursing method, and recording method to measure the duty nurse direct nursing operation project and indirect nursing operation number, Excel software was used to gather the nursing operation time and frequency of input, statistics departments total nursing workload, the formula is applied to calculation the required number of nursing and measure the different sections of the nurse patient ratio, to the rational allocation of nursing manpower; data using SPSS 13.0 statistical software were collected and analyzed. The data were described by percentage and mean, and the comparison between groups was performed with χ2 analysis. Research results:1.Sample age, working age, title and degree of education and the overall difference was not statistically significant.2.42 Investigations Department of nursing staff, age in 20 to 30 years old of nursing staff have 241 people, representing 54.52% of the total nursing staff; work nursing personnel in more than five years have 222 people, accounting for 50.23% of the total nursing staff; nurses and the nursing staff have 270 people, accounted for the total number of 61.09%; Bachelor degree nursing staff has 253 people, accounted for the total number of 57.24%.3.Define responsibility nurse direct nursing operation project 55, indirect nursing operation project 9, and measure the average nursing time of the nursing operation.4.By measuring the total nursing workload of nursing staff, 42 departments, there are 18 departments responsible for the allocation of nurses, there are 17 departments responsible nurse allocation of surplus, there are 7 departments of nursing human resources allocation is reasonable.5.Combined with the average nursing demand of patients in different departments of the hospital, summed up the different departments have the responsibility nurse nurse patient ratio. Research conclusion:1.The overall level of nurses in the clinical nursing work for junior high education, in order to improve the nurses nursing hierarchy management provides support and protection.2.clinical nursing post management system and nursing staff work responsibility is perfect, the responsibility of the work of the main areas of the main direct nursing time, in line with the "patient center" of the overall nursing service concept.3.In clinical departments, the actual nursing human resources and the needed nursing human resources allocation does not match, there is a lack of responsibility for the allocation of nurses and the phenomenon of excess.4.Different departments have different nurse to patient ratio, according to the patient’s condition and quantity change there is dynamic and random.
