Clinical Observation On Treating Amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment With Penetrate Acupuncture Of Filiform Needle

Objective:Observation and analysis on the clinical curative effect of treatment with penetrate acupuncture of filiform needle on treating amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment.Method:Selecting from the inpatients and outpatients that were treated in the first Acupuncture Department of internal medicine of First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine during the period from Aug 2013 to Dec 2015, randomly divided 60 cases into treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group,27 Male and 33 female in total. Penetrate acupuncture of filiform needle treatment is provided to the treatment group; The observation group is treated with common acupuncture treatment. Each treatment lasts for thirty minutes. First function evaluation of the patient’s cognition and delayed story recall was done on one day before the beginning of treatment. Among this treatment procedure, each course is made up by 7 days,6 days of treating with one day off, then begin with another treatment course from the next week on, which last for another 7days including 6 days treatment and one day off as well. The whole treatment procedure contains four treatment courses in total, then the second time function evaluation of the patient’s cognition and delayed story recall would be done on the next day after the treatment procedure is over.2010 Chinese edition MCI diagnostic criteria is uesd as diagnostic criteria, internationally acknowledged neuropsychological assessment scales are used as curative effect evaluation standard. Therapeutic outcome is analyzed after the end of treatment.Results:No case falls off during this clinical observation. After the treatment procedure of the two groups, the scores of three scales are significantly improved comparing with the scale scores before treatment, difference (P<0.05); The comparison of total effective rate after treatment between these two groups has significant differences(P<0.05), which indicates the curative effect of the treatment group is better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Penetrate acupuncture of filiform needle treatment significantly improve the scale score of the aMCI patients on cognitive function and delayed story recall ability.2.The treatment group is significantly better than the control group on improving cognitive function(P<0.05); there is statistical difference on improving delayed story recall ability between two groups, the treatment group shows a significant better curative effect.
