Objectives The neuropsychological scale was used to investigate the cognitive impairment characteristics of two types of early dementia: amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment(aMCI)and non-dementia Vascular Cognitive Impairment(VCIND).Method: Between January 2017 and January 2019,patients were selected from the neurology memory clinic, ward and community free clinic of the Tangshan workers hospital.General information, medical history, personal history and family history was collected for each patient.Following neurocognitive scale evaluation, laboratory examination and routine head MRI examination,40 patients with aMCI and 40 patients with VCIND were enrolled to participate in this study. For both groups, neuropsychological scale scores on single factor analyses of differences between the groups were presented as level data. The dependent variables were the disease groups.Multivariable logistic regression analysis was carried out on scale level data for the independent variable.Scale analysis of the characteristics of the two diseases in different cognitive domain injuries revealed statistical differences between the two groups of scale. Results 1.Univariate analysis: differences of gender, age, years of education and chronic disease history were of no statistical significance between the aMCI group and VCIND group(P>0.05).The neuropsychological scale results in both the aMCI group and the VCIND group showed that there were no statistically significant differences in: activity of daily living(ADL);mini-mental state examination(MMSE);Boston naming test(BNT)results;clock drawing test(CDT);digit span test(DST)of positive sequence,or trail making test A(TMT-A)time scores(P>0.05).;There were statistically significant differences in: Montreal cognitive assessment basic scale(MoCA-B);AVLT of immediate recall;AVLT of delayed recall;reconfirmation;DST reversal, and TMT-B time score(P<0.05).2.Multi-factor analysis: statistically significant scale differences between the two groups were selected to apply multivariable logistic regression. The experimental results included: MoCA-B;AVLT immediate recall;AVLT delayed recall;AVLT recognition;DST reversal and TMT-B time scale of binary logistic regression.Regression results revealed the following: Recognition ability on AVLT recognition scale(P=0.048,OR=0.099,95%CI 0.010~0.976).Results on the attention of DST reverse scale were statistically significant(P=0.003,OR=32.063,95%CI 3.262~315.125).Conclusions 1.Patients with aMCI were recognised to be generally more severely impaired than patients with VCIND.2.Patients with VCIND have more impaired attention than patients with aMCI.Figure 0;Table 10;Reference 138...
