The Clinical Study On Acupuncture Of "Tiao Shen Jie Yu" In Treatment The Post-Stroke Depression

Objective:Passed on "Tiao Shen Jie Yu" acupuncture and western medicine Prozac to treat stroke depression (PSD) of the randomized controlled study, to explore its efficacy and safety, and the impact on neurological recovery, the evaluation "Tiao Shen Jie Yu "acupuncture clinical value of PSD to provide an effective and reliable treatment for the clinical treatment of PSD.Methods:PSD will be diagnosed in the 80 patients with stroke treatment, while the underlying disease were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and control group, all cases were the first incidence. Acupuncture group were given "Tiao Shen Jie Yu" acupuncture method, the control group using a simple oral medicine Prozac treatment. All patients received conventional treatment, including treatment of underlying diseases, post-stroke rehabilitation routine acupuncture therapy, exercise and psychological counseling. The treatment group received "Tiao Shen Jie Yu" acupuncture, selected points:Baihui, the Court of God, this God (double), God the door (double), the customs (double), Taichong (double), reinforcing-reducing. The control group oral medicine Prozac (fluoxetine hydrochloride) once a day, each 20mg, taking after breakfast. Both groups were 2 weeks as a course of treatment, continuous treatment of 3 courses. Two groups of patients were obtained before treatment, after two weeks, four weeks, six weeks once each Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD), Syndrome Depression Scale, improved Edinburgh+Scandinavia neurological deficit Rating Scale (MESSS) assessment to evaluate the efficacy. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 17.0 software and draw conclusions.Results:1. HAMD scale scores:After treatment, the two groups of patients HAMD score has declined, before treatment and treatment comparison group had significant difference (P<0.01) at 4 weeks of treatment; the control group in comparison with the treatment therapy having two weeks significant difference (P<0.01); after 6 weeks of treatment, the treatment group and the control group HAMD score, the difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05).2. Syndrome Scale scores:After treatment, the two groups of patients Syndrome Scale scores were decreased, and treatment of pre-treatment group had significant difference (P< 0.01) at 4 weeks compared to the control group compared with pre-treatment in the treatment of six weeks with a significant difference (P<0.01); after 6 weeks of treatment, the treatment and control groups Syndrome scale score, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).3. MESSS scale scores:After treatment, the two groups of patients with neurological impairment score has declined, before treatment and treatment group had significant difference (P<0.01) when compared to four weeks ago in the control group and the treatment phase than those with significant differences (P<0.01) at 6 weeks; 6 weeks after treatment, the treatment group and the control group, neurological deficit scores P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant comparison.4. Comparative incidence of side effects:after treatment compare two groups of patients the incidence of side effects, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the treatment group therapy PSD no significant adverse reactions, compared with the control group safe.Conclusions:1. Tiaoshenjieyu stagnation acupuncture can significantly improve the patient’s depression PSD, deficit TCM symptoms and nerve function can be obtained with the medicine Prozac considerable therapeutic effect.2. Tiaoshenjieyu stagnation acupuncture in improving PSD patients syndromes and neurological deficit is concerned, the effect is better than medicine Prozac.3. Tiaoshenjieyu stagnation Acupuncture PSD effect Tiaoshen stagnation Acupuncture PSD significant effect, and low costs, patient compliance is good, no obvious side effects than western medicine safety, the PSD is a safe treatment effective means worthy of wide clinical application.
