Objective: Epidemic encephalitis B is a serious infectious disease of the central nervous system and endanger children’s health, but the pathogenesis is not fully clear of JE, also lack of objective laboratory indexes to judgment the illness severity and prognosis.Studies have confirmed that Monocyte chemotactic protein 1(MCP- 1),Fractalkine(FKN) in the pathogenesis of the central nervous system diseases plays an important role. This paper in order to observed the chemokine MCP- 1, FKN changing situation in JE patients serum and cerebrospinal fluid, discusses its clinical significance, and the correlation with disease severity and prognosis. Methods: Selection of north sichuan medical college affiliated hospital infection branch in July 2014- September 2015 patients of JE as disease group, and according to the illness severity was divided into heavy group and ordinary group. Ruled out of the central nervous system disease, the body system of infectious disease patients from pediatric surgery as control group. The disease group in heavy period and recovery period to return serum specimens, in heavy period to return cerebrospinal fluid. The control group to return serum and cerebrospinal fluid specimens.By double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunoassay testing MCP- 1, FKN content in all specimens. Results: 1.The comparison of MCP- 1 content in serum: In the disease group, the heavy phase with MCP – 1content in serum are relatively high the convalescence and the control group, differences are statistically significant(P < 0.05).The convalescence with MCP- 1 content in serum and the control group comparison differences had no statistical significance(P > 0.05).The heavy with MCP – 1 content in serum is relatively high the ordinary, differences is statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The comparison of FKN content in serum: In the disease group, the heavy phase with FKN content in serum is relatively high the convalescence and the control group, differences are statistically significant(P < 0.05). The convalescence with FKN content in serum and the control group comparison differences had no statistical significance(P > 0.05).The heavy with FKN content in serum is relatively high the ordinary, differences is statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The comparison of MCP-1 content in the cerebrospinal fluid: In disease group with MCP – 1 content in cerebrospinal fluid is relatively high the control group, differences is statistically significant(P < 0.05).The heavy with MCP – 1 content in cerebrospinal fluid is relatively high the ordinary, differences are statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.The comparison of FKN content in the cerebrospinal fluid: In disease group with FKN content in cerebrospinal fluid is relatively high the control group, differences is statistically significant(P < 0.05).The heavy with FKN content in cerebrospinal fluid is relatively high the ordinary, differences is statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1. Patients with epidemic encephalitis B in serum and cerebrospinal fluid MCP- 1, FKN content increased significantly in the heavy period.2.In patients with epidemic encephalitis B,MCP- 1, FKN in serum and cerebrospinal fluid associated with disease severity.3.The epidemic encephalitis B patients MCP- 1,FKN in serum levels back to normal level in the recovery, the dynamic monitoring MCP- 1,FKN in serum can be used to judge the condition changes.
