Aim:To analyze the epidemic rules and clinical features of Japanese B encephalitis in Neijiang City from 2005 to 2014,so as to provide scientific basis for its effective prevention and control.Methods: Descriptive epidemio-logical method was used to analyze the epidemic situation.Results: From 2005 to 2014,There were 162 cases reported ifecting with Japanese encephalitis in Neijiang City.The average incidence rate was 0.03795/100,000.The peak infection was in 2008,the incidence rate was 0.9681/100,000.The main morbidity population was people aged 0~14 years old,accounting 97.53% of the total incidence.The occupational distribution of the disease was mainly residentially-scattered children,students and childcare accounting 96.91% of the total incidence.The main ifections occurred from June to August and the peak infection was in August.Conclusion:The incidence rate of Japanese encephalitis in Neijiang City is relatively high before 2008,and obviously decreases after 2009.The incidence of JE is sporadic with distinct seasonal peak and mainly concentrating in people aged 0~14 years old.In order to avoid the transmission and prevalence of JE,we should take comprehensive measures by further perfecting vacci-nation and controlling the media,strengthening monitoring and health education.
