Objective:Through the equal resistance training combined with acupuncture and traction therapy on the abnormal physiological curvature of neck type cervical spondylosis, to observe the clinical effect of the NTCS with abnormal physiological curvature.Methods:According to the random method,126 patients with NTCS were randomly divided into treatment group and control group A and control group B. Acupuncture plus traction as a basic therapy, the treatment group received equal resistance training,the control group A received random neck exercise, the control group B received basic therapy.After the treatment,evaluating the efficacy by the symptoms and signs integral VAS、NDI、ROM of neck and X-ray physiological arc measurement value. Recorded the results of observation and adverse events.follow-up the three groups after the 2 months, to observe the long-term curative effect observation.Results:(1) 2 cases dropped of the 126 patients,1 patient dropped in the treatment group,1 patient dropped in the control group B.(2) Clinical efficacy:three groups of the total effective rate of neck type cervical spondylos is no significant difference (P> 0.05). But in the clinical cure rate,treatment group cure rate is better than two control groups (P<0.05).(3) Pain relief:three groups in relief the neck pain, comparison between before and after treatment, were significant difference between the three groups (P< 0.01);The treatment group is better than two control groups (P<0.01).(4) NDI points:three groups in relief the neck disability,comparison between before and after treatment, were significant difference between the three groups (P< 0.01); The treatment group is better than two control groups (P<0.01)(5) ROM of neck:comparison in the group,to improve the ROM of neck,treatment group and control group A were significantly difference before treatment (P<0.05) particularly in improvement of cervical joint extension aspects (P<0.05);control group B is no obvious significant between before and after treatment (P>0.05).(6) X-ray physiological arc measurement value:Comparison in the group, three groups in improving the range of motion is cervical spine before treatment were significantly difference (P<0.05);comparison between the groups,treatment group and control group A is better than the control group B (P<0.05), but no obvious difference between the treatment group and control group A(P>0.05).(7)Correlation analysis:the correlation analysis of symptoms and signs integral and cervical physiological curvature in neck type of cervical spondylosis patients that Pearson correlation coefficient was -0.9267(P<0.01).(8) Follow-up:On scold of the VAS and NDI,comparison between the three groups after the 2 months and before treatment,treatment group is better than two control groups (P<0.01)(9) During the treatment,the treatment group had 1 patient with syncope, to a lesser extent, the rest of the patients without any adverse reactions.Conclusion:Therapy of the three groups for cervical spondylosis were effective, but the equal resistance training combined with acupuncture and traction therapy cure rate is the best, particularly in the improvement of cervical joint extension aspects. Equal resistance training and random neck exercise method is good for the neck arc abnormality.Through the follow-up,the effect of equal resistance training combined with acupuncture and traction for relieving the pain and neck disability of NTCS is the best.
