Objective:To analyze the imaging manifestations of bronchial tuberculosis with different classification using the multi-slice spiral computed tomography (MSCT). The CT images from patients with bronchial tuberculosis, which were given systematic treatment or fiber bronchoscopy intervention, were analyzed and compared before and after the treatments, the diagnostic and follow-up value of MSCT on bronchial tuberculosis were evaluated..Methods:We reviewed the CT images of 78 patients who were convinced of BTB through pathology before and after the treatment by systematic treatment and interventional fibrobronchoscopy. The thickness of bronchial wall and the stenosis of bronchus were assessed before and after the treatment by observing the CT images. Results:Based on the CT images of 78 patients, simple bronchial involvement had 21 cases (26.9%). In several of 57 cases of bronchial involvement (73.1%), which more than the unilateral bronchus involvement had 40 cases (51.3%), and bilateral bronchial involvement had 17 cases (27.8%); there were 51 cases of the right side of the bronchial involvement (65.4%), and 44 patients with the left side of the bronchial involvement (56.4%), upper lobe bronchus involvement in 39.7%, lower lobe bronchus involvement in 30.8%, other leaf and leaf below bronchial involvement in 20.5%; patients with lesions periodically distributed had 12 cases (15.4%), more details was as follows:(1)7 patients with exudative lesions were given bronchoscopy, and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was 4. (2) 20 patients with ulceronecrotic lesions were given bronchoscopy. and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was 18. (3) 17 patients with proliferous and granulomatous lesions were given bronchoscopy, and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was 14.(4)24 patients with scar strictured lesions were given bronchoscopy, and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was 24. (5) 7 patients with soften bronchial were given bronchoscopy, and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was7. (6)4 patients with lymph fistula were given bronchoscopy, and the cases that had a CT examination which pretherapy was 3. The corresponding rate was 87.2% in MSCT.The number of short, medium, long of lung involvement was 8,25,45before the treatment and the corresponding number of ineffective treatment was0,3,5,the number of mild, medium and severe thickness of bronchial wall was 11,25 and 40 before the treatment and the corresponding number of ineffective treatment was 0,1 and 11. On the other side, the number of mild, medium, severe stenosis and obstruction of bronchus was 25,17,15 and 19, while the corresponding number of ineffective treatment was 1,3,4 and 6. Analysis after treatment:The number of valid patients according to the classification of spiral CT are, in order,7、17、15、21、5、3. The number of invalid patients after treatment are, in order,0、3、2、7、2、0.Conclusion:The lesions caused by BTB are observed comprehensively and precisely by means of MSCT, and there is a great clinic valve of MSCT on the assessment before and after the treatment of BTB.
