The control group was treated with normal acupuncture, the acupoints were Shenmen(HT7), Neiguan(PC6), Baihui(DU20), Anmian(EX-HN22), Zusanli(ST36), Sanyinjiao(SP6), Xinshu(BL15), Pishu(BL20). The treatment group was treated with warming needle, the acupoints same as the control group, moxibustion on Neiguan(PC6), Zusanli(ST36)and Sanyinjiao(SP6)simultaneously. All the patients were evaluated by the Sleep Rate, PSQI and TCM Rating Scale before and after treatment.Result 1. There are 5 cases cured,9 cases with marked effect,14 cases with effect and 2 cases without effect in treatment group, while 3 cases cured,8 cases with marked effect,9 cases with effect and 9 cases without effect in control group. Two groups of curative effect comparisons demonstrated that total effectiveness of the treatment group is 93.3% and the control group is 70.0%; Treatment group is better than control group in total effectiveness (P<0.05).2. After the treatment, the Sleep Rate was significantly increased in both groups (P<0.05).The difference between two group is statistically significant (P<0.05); After the treatment, the PSQI and TCM Rating score of the both groups were decreased significantly (P<0.05), the differences between groups are statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The moxibustion with warming needle treatment and normal acupuncture treatment can both effectively improve the symptoms of insomnia with syndrome of heart-spleen deficiency, the moxibustion with warming needle treatment is better than the normal acupuncture treatment in curative effect.
