Urethral Cystoscopy Application In Patients With Hematuria

Objective: To study value of cystoscopy in the diagnosis of hematuria,To imp rove the awareness of hematuria,As a reference guide for the diagnosis of hemat uria. Methods:Proposed in January 2012 to December 2014 during the urine一base d complaint to our hospital 1323 cases of patients with hematuria,through urethral cystoscopy To analysis the clinical causes of hematuria.Results:1 Among 1323 case s of patients with hematuria,bladder cancer occurred in 139(11%),cystitis in 403(31%),benign prostate hyperplasia(BPH) in 111(9%),bladder stones in 60(5%),upper u rinary tract hemorrhage in 100(8%),no abnormalities in 289(22%),urethritis in 107(8%),bladder tuberculosis in 17(1%),bladder leukoplakia in 70(5%),prostatitis in 5(0.57%),chyluria in 4(0.38%). 2 Among 139 cases of patients with bladder cancer,ma le patients in 98,female patients in 41;Between the ages of 20一90 years old. T he average age of62.9. Among 139 cases of bladder cancer patients,a total of 130 cases admitted to hospital,111 cases diagnosed by pathologic examination of bladd er cancer,1case of bladder benign.cystoscopy for bladder cancer diagnosis rate of 85.10%. Conclution:Cause of lower urinary tract hematuria and age, sex has a certa in connection,gross hematuria in patients over 40 years old,especially man should b e timely to carry out urethral cystoscopy,And close follow-up,to raise bladder cance r early diagnosisPatients with microscopic hematuria,If no clear cause for microscop ic hematuria,have to close follow-up,should be carry out urethral cystoscopy if it is necessary.Even if the inspection was normal,but also to regularly track review,in o rder to exclude the possibility of Bladder Cancer.Cystoscopy has important role in the diagnosis of lower urinary tract diseases,but also can be seen the value in dia gnosis of upper urinary tract disease.Clinicians and peoples should raise awareness and vigilance for hematuria.
