The Clinical Research Of Knife Crochet Treating Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Objective:Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is a frequent orthopedics disease, and it is one of the most generally and frequent diseases which puzzle the middle and old people. This experiment is intended to confirm the therapeutic effect which knife crochet treat the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy patients and discuss the mechanism of action of knife crochet treat the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy through observing knife crochet and acupuncture treat the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy patients whose sings and symptoms change. It can build up a good theoretical and experimental basis for traditional chinese medicine preventing and treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods:The research object is the patients of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy for this research. Then the patients are divided to knife crochet treating group and ordinary acupuncture control group, every group 40 patients. The treatment group is used for knife crochet therapy, and selected for corresponding section processus spinosus, processus transverses, parenchyma, high stress force points and local painful spot for regular disinfection. Then make knife crochet and skin for a certain angle, and stick into the skin quickly aiming at the painful spot, then stroke 3-5 times along muscle fiber direction, and pull out the needle by beveled for a certain angle. The needle holes are sterilized regularly, and plastered by styptic plaster. The patients are told not bath in 3days and return to visit 1 week later. 3times is 1 course of treatment. The ordinary acupuncture control group is used for regular acupuncture, and selected for 5-7 Jiaji, Tianzhu, Fengchi, Jianjing, Houxi, and a shi point etc, 1 time a day, 30 minutes a time, 10 times a course of treatment. The index is evaluated by the symptoms, signs, function improvement and painful synthetic evaluation of the prior treatment and post-treatment, and it is used to research the clinical curative effect of knife crochet treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by contrast observation between the groups, before and after the treatment.Results:All the improvement of the indexes in knife crochet treating group have an advantage over the ordinary acupuncture control group: the clinical symptoms and signs before and after the treatment between the treatment group and the control group, by t test, p<0.05 and there is significant difference between 2 group. It illustrates that the treatment group can improve the clinical sings and symptoms more. Painful score contrast before and after treatment, by t test, p<0.01, and it illustrates that the general painful improvement by the treatment group to pain have an advantage over the control group after the 2 different remedy. Painful difference score contrast before and after treatment, by t test, p<0.01, and it illustrates that the all aspects of improvement to pain by the treatment group to pain have an advantage over the control group after the 2 different remedy. The relation contrast between the course of treatment and the PRI improvement before and after treatment: the contrast between the first course of treatment and pretherapy, p<0.05, and it illustrates that there is improvement in PRI total score of the first course of treatment after 2 different remedy. Contrast to the first course of treatment, p**<0.01, it illustrates that the improvement of the PRI total scores after the second course of treatment and the end of the treatment have an advantage over the first course of treatment. The total curative effect contrast of 2 groups is that the total effective rate of the treatment group is 94.7﹪, and the control groups is89.2﹪. There is a significant difference between the 2 group(p<0.05). it also illustrates that the treatment of knife crochet is obviously superior to the ordinary acupuncture.Conclusion:The curative effect is significant by knife crochet treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, it can change obviously the clinical sings and symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, commendable therapeutical effect to pain, and is superior to ordinary acupuncture. The operation of knife crochet is simple and easy to do, worth to extent.
