Objective: Numbers of scholars pay close attention to the vascular cognitive impairment of no dementia. We found some of the study about Nimodipine had different conclusion on the effective of vascular cognitive impairment of no dementia. So the Systematic Review had been used to assess the effectiveness and safety of Nimodipine for vascular cognitive impairment of none dementia, in order to provide evidence to improve Nimodipine is good for VCIND.Methods: The databases, such as CNKI, VIP, Wan Fang Data, The Cochrane Library, Pub Med, EBSCO and Google scholar, were searched from 2003.1 to December of 2014.12, to collect randomized controlled trials or half- randomized controlled trials of nimodipine for patients with vascular cognitive impairment of none dementia. All of the literature were only use Nimodipine, and were randomized controlled study or half-randomized controlled study. Rev Man5.2 software was used for data analyses. Results: According to the strict inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Seven randomized controlled trails involved 500 patients were included. The results of Meta-analysis showed that: 1. Taken Mo CA scale as assessment index, nimodipine group compared with the control groups could significantly improve the cognitive function[6 trails,2.85, 95% CI(1.41, 4.29), P =0.0001]; 2. There were significant different between the two groups, in which cognitive impairment were assessed by MMSE scale[ WMD = 2.59, 95% CI(1.36, 3.81), P <0.0001], 3. There is one trails talken about auditory event –related potential(AERP) P300, WMD =-24.34, 95% CI(-35.73,-12.95), P <0.000, There were significant different between the two groups. 4. Nimodipine for the treatment of cognitive impairment of none dementia found no correlation between duration and treatment effect.Conclusion:1. Current evidence indicates that nimodipine is effective and safety for vascular cognitive impairment of none dementia. Because of the quality and sample size of included studies, this conclusion still needs to be further proved by conducting more high quality RCTs. 2. Nimodipine for the treatment of cognitive impairment of none dementia found no correlation between duration and treatment effect.
