Observation Of Clinical Effect Of Iodophor On Ecchymosis

Objective: To explore a simple and convenient nursing method for caring ecchymosis, the treatment effect of iodophor with 50% magnesium sulfate glycerin in ecchymosis patients was compared.Methods: The research discussed the clinical treatment effect on treating moderate and severe ecchymosis. 132 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=66) and a control group(n=66). The treatment group was given iodophor wet compress, dressing once a day. The control group was given 50% magnesium sulfate glycerin wet compress, dressing once a day. Before and after the treatment, ecchymosis severity were use to evaluate the treatment effect. All the experimental datas were analyzed by SPSS 18.0.Results: There were no significant differences in age and the causes of ecchymosis and ecchymosis severity in both groups(P>0.05). For the treatment group, 58 cases recovered, another 8 cases were significantly effective, and the total effective rate was 100%; while for the control group, only 12 cases recovered, 47 cases were significantly effective and 7 cases were not effective, the total effective rate was 89.39%. These results indicated that the iodophor therapy ameliorated the ecchymosis much more than 50% magnesium sulfate glycerin(P<0.01).Conclusion: Iodophor can significantly ameliorate ecchymosis. And the iodophor therapy is an easy-obtained and easy-operated therapy to ecchymosis, worthing to application.
