| The object of study of paper is the publication of TCM in the Republic of China-“New TCM Journal” which is sponsored by the publishing company of New TCM Journal. Its chief editor is ZHU Xiao- nan. The periodical founded in September twenty-seven years of the Republic of China,as September of 1938,discontinnued in 1941.There are 3 volume and 34 publications being kept in store now. The journal published more than 460 papers, owed more than 100 writers.This research conducts the quantitative research and objective evaluation of the journal by the research method of literature metrology, combining with the methods of history and sociology. With kinds of statistics of the journal papers, authors and quotations as several important measurement,It shows that the journal is rich in content, stable column structures, outstanding column, clear subjects, etc. “ New TCM Journal” has been strictly following the objective, providing spiritual food for the TCM Persons at that time.In addition to inhering academic achievement, it is involved in the promoting of the development of TCM, Chinese medicine education and the construction of TCM Hospital. It trains a large number of TCM Persons, contributing to the research and promoting of the development of TCM, Chinese Medicine and TCM clinical. It provides markers for the running of journals going forward by studying the development and analysing the problems of the journal. |
