Objective: the effect to reduce the chemotherapy toxin of Malignant tumor and influence on immune function of Hui Sheng capsule.Methods: 170 Kunming inbred mice, half male and half female, vaccination sarcoma S-180 strain, randomly divided into four major groups according to sex and weight, each of 10 mice per group. The first large group to carry out anti-tumor experiments, divided into four little groups, each 10: tumor-bearing control group, C TX group, high-dose Hui Sheng capsule + CTX group, low-dose Hui Sheng capsules + C TX group. The second large group, to carry out C TX S-180 anti-tumor-bearing attenuated toxicity experiments, divided into five groups, each 10: normal control group, tumor-bearing control group, CTX group, high-dose Hui Sheng capsule + CTX group, low-dose Hui Sheng capsules + CTX group. The third large group for serum hemolysin content experiments, the fourth large group for tumor-bearing mouse spleen lymphocyte proliferation index experiments, both third and forth large group divided into four little groups, each 10: normal control group, tumor-bearing control group, high-dose Hui Sheng capsule group, low-dose Hui Sheng capsule group. S-180 tumor-bearing mice by mouth resuscitation Hui Sheng capsule for 10 days, the tumor weighed to calculate the inhibition rate and measuring the average tumor weight; simultaneous determination of red blood cell(RBC), white blood cell(WBC), platelet count(PLT). Calculated by MTT staining lymphocyte proliferation index, HC50 hemolysin concentration determination.(1) Inhibitory effect in tumor-bearing S-180 mice: C TX can reduce the wight of S-180 sarcoma in S-180-sarcoma mice, comparing tumor-bearing control group and C TX group, there was a significant difference(P<0.01). Combine Hui Sheng capsules and C TX, can also reduce the weight of S-180 sarcoma, the tumor inhibitory rate of high-dose Hui Sheng capsule group was 49.4%, the tumor inhibitory rate of small-dose Hui Sheng capsule group was 48.8%, both significa ntly different with CTX group(P <0.05).(2)The attenuation effect of C TX against S-180 sarcoma toxicity: tumor-bearing control group mice’s RBC, WBC and PLT no significant change, comparing with the normal control group, there’s no significant difference(P>0.05). CTX can reduce tumor-bearing mice’s RBC and WBC, comparing normal control group with CTX group, there was a extremely significant difference(P<0.01) and for tumor-bearing control group,there was a significant difference(P <0.05), but the tumor-bearing mice’s PLT had no significant change. Hui Sheng capsules and CTX used in combination, can against CTX reduced RBC and WBC of tumor-bearing mice, compared with the CTX group, high-dose group had a significant difference(P <0.01).(3)Effect of splenic lymphocyte proliferation in tumor-bearing mice: tumor-bearing control group mice’s lymphocyte proliferation index decreased, between tumor-bearing control group and the control group, there was a significant difference(P<0.01). Hui Sheng capsules can increase the lymphocyte proliferation index, compared with tumor-bearing control group, Hui Sheng capsule large and small dose group showed significant differences(P <0.05).(4) Effect of Hui Sheng capsule hemolysin content on tumor-bearing mice: tumor-bearing control group mice have a reduced level of serum hemolysin, comparing normal control group and tumor-bearing control group, there was a significant difference(P<0.01). Hui Sheng capsule can improve the level of serum hemolysin in mice, compared with the tumor-bearing control group, large-dose Hui Sheng capsule has extremely significant differcance and small-dose group has significant difference(P <0.05).Conclusion: the Hui Sheng capsule has obvious inhibition on the S-180 tumor-burdened mice tumor, relieve s the side effect of toxin, improves the life quality of cancer patients and reduces the side effects, which bases on the mechanism to adjust the immune function in tumor-burdened mice, inhibit the proliferation of tumor cell for the purpose of treatment.
