Objective: This topic is to investigate the sonic hedgehog(SHH) methyl prednisolone(MP) experimental research for the treatment of spinal cord injury in rats. Methods:This study selected 40 female SD rats, 200-250- g.Modified Allen ’s offensive against mould, subarachnoid catheter.Animals were randomly divided into 4 groups: blank group A,(n = 10) the building within 24 h after tail vein injection of saline + subarachnoid injection of saline solution for 30 consecutive days;Monotherapy group B,(n = 10)the building within 24 h after tail vein injection of MP + subarachnoid injection of saline solution for 30 consecutive days;Monotherapy group C n =(n = 10) the building within 24 h after tail vein injection of saline + subarachnoid injection SHH for 30 consecutive days;Combined treatment group D(n = 10) the building within 24 h after tail vein injection MP + subarachnoid injection SHH for 30 consecutive days.After the intervention on the basis of grouping BBB score evaluation of motor function recovery;HE dyed compare two groups of rats after spinal cord injury pathological changes.. Results:BBB score: combined treatment group(group D) BBB score significantly higher than the single treatment group(group B and group C), the blank group(group A), statistically significant difference(P < 0.05);Single treatment group B(methyl prednisolone group) BBB score higher than single treatment group C group hedgehog(notes), blank group(group A), the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05);Monotherapy group C group hedgehog(notes) the blank group(group A) and BBB score change is not obvious, no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05).HE staining showed the combination therapy group(group D) A single treatment group(group B and group C), the blank group(group A) after spinal cord injury void volume significantly narrowed, difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05);Single treatment group B(methyl prednisolone group) after spinal cord injury void volume is less than single treatment group C group hedgehog(notes), blank group(group A), the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05);Monotherapy group C group hedgehog(notes) the blank group(group A) after spinal cord injury to hole shrinkage is not obvious, no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05). Conclusion:the sound hedgehog with methyl prednisolone combined treatment can significantly reduce the volume of the cavity after spinal cord injury, and improve the behavior score after spinal cord injury;2. sonic hedgehog used alone for the recovery of function after spinal cord injury in rats is not obvious;3.methyl prednisolone alone can promote the recovery of function after spinal cord injury in rats.
