Clinical Study On Clinical Outcomes Of Shexiang Baoxin Pill In The Treatment Of Chronic Ttable Coronary Artery Disease

Objective1. To explore the role of HMP in occurrence frequencies of angina pectoris of patiences diagnosed with stable coronary heart diseases2. The influence HMP of on the quality of life of patiences suffering from stable coronary heart diseases.3. To study the security of oral HMP for a long time.Methods1.90 patiences diagnosed with stable coronary heart diseases were randomly assigned into two groups:HMP group (n= 45), placebo (n= 45)2. HMP group:standard treatment of coronary heart disease+HMP (take orally; thrice per day with two capsules each time; warm water to swallow), Placebo: coronary heart disease standard treatment+placebo (idem).3. The patiences would check regularly and fill out the table of Seattle scale after take HMP or placebo for 0,1,3,6,9,12,18 and 24 months respectively. We would evaluate the efficacy, safety and compliance of drugs.4. To observe the change of blood routine, urine routine, electrolytes, liver and kidney function, blood lipid and blood sugar.5. After follow-up visiting for 2 years, we observed the differentiation of endpoint events and life quality. Endpoint events include nonfatal myocardial infarction and the unstable angina or heart failure hospitalization.ResultsThe frequencies of endpoint events in HMP group were lower evidently than these in placebo group (*P<0.01), including 55.6% in HMP group and 95.6% in placebo group. The quality of life in HMP group were improved obviously than that in placebo group (*P<0.01). There were not distinct side-effects in both HMP group and placebo group during the treatment period.ConclusionTabing HMP orally for a long time can reduce the occurrence frequencies of angina pectoris and enhance quality of life, further decrease frequencies of endpoint events. While HMP has a good security.
