Objective:To study the relativity between cerebral microbleeds and retinal vascular lesions. Methods:All 123 patients with cerebral infarction who could sit and finish fundus photography in Neurology Department of Beijing Military Region General Hospital from December 2013 to December 2014 and accepted head MRI examination and eye fundus photography agreed by themselves were selected and divided into the cerebral microbleeds group(CMBs group, A group, 52 patients) and the non-cerebral microbleeds group(n CMBs group, B group, 71 patients), and the clinical data and localized retinal vascular lesions(including micro aneurysm, hard exudate, cotton-wool spot, blood spots, retinal artery coarctation, arteriovenous crossing, silver like change) were compared between the two groups. Results:(1) After comparing A group with B group, the age, hypertension, diabetes, systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood-glucose, TG, C reaction protein were statistically significant( P < 0.05) and differences in other data were not( all P>0.05); age(OR=1.762, 95%CI:0.670~0.866), hypertension(OR=4.549, 95%CI:1.634~12.663), diabetes( OR=3.717, 95%CI:1.348 ~ 10.255), fasting blood-glucose( OR=3.839, 95%CI:1.414~10.424), C reactipn protein(OR=7.136, 95%CI:2.358~21.592) were the independent risk factors for CMBs.(2) The incidence rates of hard exudates, retinal artery coarctation and arteriovenous crossing in CMBs patients were higher than non-CMBs patients, and the χ2 values were respectively 6.233, 7.675, 9.544, P values were respectively 0.040,0.031,0.019, all their P values < 0.05, the differences were statistically significant. Arteriovenous crossing(OR=6.698,95%CI:1.038~23.236), hard exudates(OR=3.605,95%CI:0.638~12.370) were the independent risk factors for CMBs.(3) CMBs classification in patients with hard exudates, retinal artery coarctation and arteriovenous crossing was significantly different against the patients without them, and the Z values were respectively-2.317,-2.294 and-2.157, the P values were respectively 0.029, 0.033 and 0.039. Conclusion:(1) CMBs and CMBs classification were related to the arteriovenous nicking, localized retinal artery narrowing, and hard exudate of retinal vascular lesions. With increasing degree of CMBs, the incidence rates of arteriovenous nicking, localized retinal artery narrowing and hard exudates gradually rose.(2) Arteriovenous crossing, hard exudates were the independent risk factors for CMBs.
