Central aortic pressure(CAP) is better available than peripheral blood pressurein theprediction of cardiovascular disease pathogenesis.Clinically, the gold standard to obtain CAP is directly measured by a micromanometer which is sent to the aortic root through a hollow needle. However, this method is not only traumatogenic and clinical risk to patients, but also costs a lot and hard to operate. Therefore, it is not suitable for clinical promotion. Due to theperipheral arterial hemodynamic characteristic is directly related to CAP, it plays a major role to reconstruct the CAP.The main problems of the existing methodstoreconstruct CAP are that generalizedtransfer function method cannot meet the individualization and the self adaptive demands. It is virtually impossibleto realize the multi-channel blind identification, which needs to obtain a plurality of continuous blood pressure signals at different positions of the artery. It is difficult to obtain the accurate dataof peripheral blood flow which is reconstructed through the blood pressure and flow. Due to lack of information of the single method of peripheral blood pressure data reconstruction, this method is not precise enough. This article proposes a two hemodynamics model and an adaptive method to calculate the CAP based on the dual-peripheral continuous blood pressure. It not only makes up the insufficiency of blood flow informations, but also have satisfied the individualized and self-adapt changes in demands. Comparing to the existing methods with experimental data simulation, this paper have verified the feasibility of the principle we proposed in this article. Experiments on human beings have been developed in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.Further optimation and improves on the new method have been achieved. Based on the single point non-invasive continuous blood pressure measurement method, this paper has developed a platform of dual-peripheral non-invasive continuous blood pressure measurement, and have completed the synchronization acquisition of dual-peripheral continuous blood pressure.
