| Objective: Through observing the clinical application and efficacy of two ear reconstruction, explore the ideal auricle scaffoldmaterials and ear reconstruction method, evaluate the short and long term for each bracket satisfaction according to the results of operations and the occurrence rate of complications by postoperative follow-up.Methods: 329 cases of microtia ear defects or trauma patients underwent mastoid skin dilation by dilatorafter stent ear cartilage for reconstruction(144 cases) and a porous high-density polyethylene(Medpor) for the stent superficial temporal fascia flap plus an ear reconstruction graft(185 cases).Results: After 6 months to 2 years observation, the costal stent group were satisfied at the rate of 72.91%(144/105), Medpor stent group were satisfied at the rate of 90.81%(185/168).The difference between the two groups of patients was a significant difference(P <0.05). Postoperative complications rate of the costal stent group was 18.75%,while postoperative complications rate of the Medpor stent group was 9.19%.The difference between the two groups of patients showed a significant difference(P <0. 05).Conclusions: Comparing the two methods,they both have advantages and disadvantages.And the Costal cartilage for reconstruction scaffold staging is a more reliable method of treatment. Medpor bracket for ear reconstruction surgery eliminates the pain of taking costal for stents and surgical stagingartilage,with less trauma, simple operation, short course, postoperative clear outline and relatively stable overall profile,etc. Which has been adopted by more and more doctors. In a large number of clinical practices, its long-term effect has been confirmed and its complications have also been in the good control.Thus it is a good treatment deserved recommending and an ideal method for auricular reconstruction. |
