Objective To analyze and research recurrent and prognosis conditions after first-ever ischemic stroke in-patients, and to explore the risk factors of recurrent and prognosis conditions. Methods 233 patients who were admitted into our hospital from April 2012 to April 2013 due to ischemic stroke were enrolled in China Cerebral Stroke Registry System. According to “face to face” clinic service review, telephone others measures to follow up. Use c2 test and logistic regression analysis to statistically analyze recurrent factors and prognosis conditions of all ischemic stroke patients within surve. Results In the included 233 cases of ischemic stroke patients, 1 year recurrent rate of stroke was 18.45%(43/233). According to results of Chi-square test, sex, smoking, history of TIA, atrial fibrillation or valvular heart disease, hypertension, hyperhomocy steinemia, hyperuricemia, hypertriglyceridemia, carotid atherosclerosis were significantly related to the recurrence of ischemic stroke. In logistic regression multivariate analysis, the recurrent rate of ischemic stroke patients with multi-factors(such as smoking, h ypertension, hyperhomocysteinemia, hyperuricemia and carotid atherosclerosis) was high er(p<0.05). According to results of Chi-square test between good prognosis and poor prognosis, history of TIA, hypertriglyceridemia, fasting plasma glucose were significan tly related to the prognosis of ischemic stroker(p<0.05).Conclusions 1.In 1 year, 43 cases were recurred around 233 ischemic stroke patients, the recurrent rate was 18.45%. 2. Hypertension, smoking, hyperhomocysteinemia are the main risk factors of the recurrence of ischemic stroke.3. Control blood pressure, smoking cessation, control the level of homocysteine may be reduce the recurrence of ischemic stroke.4. History of TIA, hypertriglyceridemia, increased fasting plasma glucose have great impact on the early prognosis.
