Objective: To investigate the status of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer and analyze its influencing factorsMethods: Cluster sampling method was conducted at the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei United University and Tangshan People’s Hospital from October 2013 to October 2014. A total of diagnosed and hospitaled 248 patients with colorectal cancer were treated with questionnaires, including General Demographic Characteristics Questionnaire(age, sex, marital status, occupation, economic status, health insurance etc.); Quality of Life in Patients with Cancer Scale; Micro Nutritional Assessement(MNA); Ability of Daily Life Scale(ADL); Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HAD); Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and Family Function Assessment Scale. A database with all collected data was built by way of EXCEL Software and SPSS17.0 statistical software used for statistical analysis.Results: 1 The status quo and rating of qualify of life in patients with colorectal cancer:physical function points(34.09 ± 11.30); psychological function points(30.29 ± 11.59); symptoms/side effects points(31.42 ± 9.74); social function points(28.84 ± 8.84); total points of quality of life(124.69 ± 31.95). 2 Single factor analysis to quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer: ①physical function in sex, place of residence, marital status, occupation, alcohol, stool, eating rules, abdominal pain, metastatic disease, fistula, chemotherapy, number of chemotherapy, surgery time, ADL personal income, payment of medical expenses, anxiety, social function were statistically significant(P <0.05);(As to physical function, there were statistically significant in place of residence, marital status, occupation, drinking, defecate, eating patterns, abdominal pain, disease transfer, fistulization, chemotherapy, number of chemotherapy, time after surgery, ADL, personal income, medical expense payment, anxiety, social function and nutrition(P <0.05).) ② mental function in sex, drinking, stool is normal, eating is the law, abdominal pain, bloating, cancer metastasis, chemotherapy is nausea, weight decreased to some degree whether chemotherapy, the number of chemotherapy, ADL, social function were statistically significance(P <0.05);(As to psychological function, there were statistically signifant in drinking, defecate, eating patterns, abdominal pain, abdominal distension,malignant tumor transfer, nausea during chemotherapy, nutrition, chemotherapy, number of chemotherapy, ADL and social function(P <0.05).③ As to symptoms/side effects, there were statistically signifant in place of residence,occupation, drinking, abdominal pain, abdominal distension,malignant tumor transfer, nausea during chemotherapy, nutrition, fistulization, number of chemotherapy, ADL, personal monthly income, medical expense payment, anxiety, social function(P <0.05).) ④ As to social function, there were statistically signifant in place of residence,occupation, smoking, defecate, eating patterns, malignant tumor transfer, number of chemotherapy, ADL, personal monthly income, nutrition, family income, total medical expenses, medical expense payment, anxiety, depression, family function and social function.(P <0.05). ⑤As to the total scores of quality of life, there were statistically signifant in place of residence,occupation, drinking, defecate, eating patterns, abdominal pain, abdominal distension,malignant tumor transfer, nausea during chemotherapy, nutrition, fistulization, chemotherapy, number of chemotherapy, ADL, personal monthly income, medical expense payment, anxiety, depression, family function and social function(P <0.05).3 Multi-factor analysis to quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer: ① Influencing factors to physical function include number of chemotherapy, ADL, anxiety, depression and drinking. ②Influencing factors to psychological function include malignant tumor transfer, defecate, ADL, anxiety, depression and nutrition. ③Influencing factors to symptoms/side effects include drinking, nausea during chemotherapy, depression, ADL and nutrition. ④Influencing factors to social function include malignant tumor transfer, defecate shape, total medical expenses, depression and nutrition. ⑤ Influencing factors to the total scores of quality of life include malignant tumor transfer, drinking, abdominal distension, nausea during chemotherapy, anxiety, depression, ADL and nutrition.In conclusion: 1 The total scores of quality of life in patient with colorectal cancer is(124.69±31.95)2 Multi-factors analysis shows that number of chemotherapy,ADL,anxiety, depression, drinking are factors influencing physical function of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer; Malignant tumor transfer, defecate, ADL, anxiety, depression and nutrition are factors influencing psychological function of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer; Drinking, nausea during chemotherapy, depression, ADL and nutrition are factors influencing symptoms/side effects of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer; Mlignant tumor transfer, defecate shape, totalmedical expenses, depression and nutrition are factors influencing social function of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer; Malignant tumor transfer, drinking, abdominal distension, nausea during chemotherapy, anxiety, depression, ADL and nutrition are factors influencing the total scores of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer.
