Objectives Analyze the main influencing factors of executive dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes. So as to guide clinical diabetes treatment, prevent and delay the occurrence of executive dysfunction, and improve the quality of life of patients with diabetes to provide certain basis. Methods 350 cases of type 2 diabetes patients who have been diagnosed and treatmented in the endocrinology Tangshan Worker’s Hospital from October 2013 to April2014 were selected. The Behavioral Assessment of Dysexecutive Syndrome(BADS) was used to evaluate the executive function and using the designed the general demographic characteristics questionnaire, the status of disease questionnaire, type 2 diabetes selfmanagement scale, chronic diseases’ self-efficacy scale, family function assessment scale, social support scale, pittsburgh sleep index scale, self rating depression scale admitted to the patients.Measuring time was within 1~2 days after hospitalization. The patient scored less than 11 points into executive dysfunction group(case group),a total of 135people;the patient scored greater than or equal to 11 points into non executive dysfunction group(control group),a total of 215 people.Using SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Count data use the chi-square test;multiple factors analysis use the binary classification logistic regression analysis. Results 1 Univariate analysis showed that:the general situation(culture, work or not, nature of work, family per capita monthly income),daily habits(smoking, drinking, drinking tea, disease situation(chronic complications, duration of diabetes, big vascular lesions, microvascular lesion, the merger disease species),biochemistry indices(Hb A1 c,fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol),disease treatment(knowing the dietary principles, consist on diet therapy, knowing exercise principles, consist on exercise therapy, periodic review),self-efficacy,family functioning, social suppor, sleep quality, depression are associated with executive function in patients with type 2diabetes,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05). 2 Multiariable logistic regr-ession analysis showed that:smoking or not, drinking tea or not,with/without chronic complications,with/without big vascular lesions,with/without microvascular lesion, the merger disease species, consist on the diet therapy or not,the level of fastingblood glucose control in patients with risk factors for executive dysfunction, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Conclusions Executive dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is major related to smoking or not, drinking tea or not,with/without chronic complications,with/without big vascular lesions,with/without microvascular lesion, the merger disease species, adhere to the diet therapy or not,the level of fasting blood glucose control. In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, smoking, non drinking tea, have chronic complications, have large vascular lesions, have microvascular lesion, merge three or more diseases, not consist on the diet therapy, have bad fasting blood sugar control is the high risk of occurrence on executive dysfunction.
