The Tibetan plateau rich in Swertia mussotii Franch that is widely used in the treatment of all kinds of liver disease, the purpose of this research is to study its effect on the hyperlipidemia. There are many reports about water-extract of Swertia mussotii Franch, also about the alcohol-extract. But there is no report about the petroleum ether-extract. Another way, as the basis of hyperlipidemia research, animal models play the important role.So this experiment contains two aspects as follow:(1) The study of rapid modeling method of hyperlipidemia mouse modelWe want to screen an ideal method which can rapidly build hyperlipidemia mouse model in three kinds of modeling methods. The results show that there were model Group 21-2 and model Group 41 made the mice become hyperlipidemic and the model of hyperlipidemia was formed successfully.Compared with model Group 41,the modeling cycle of model group21-2 was significantly reduced. It comes to a conclusion that it is an ideal method for building hyperlipidemia mouse model that based on intraperitoneal injection disposably a large dose of vitamin D3 and feeding the high fat diet.(2) Reaserch of two kinds of solvent-extract of Swertia mussotii Franch effect on hyperlipidemiaThe research select the water-extract and the petroleum ether-extract of Swertia mussotii Franch made on the mice after hyperlipidemia model to study the effects evaluation of the role of lipid-lowering. Through research, analysis and comparison of two kinds of solvent-extract show that: all of them had significant antihyperlipidemic action. Detect the total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), high density lipop rotein cholesterol(HDL-c), low density lipop rotein cholesterol(LDL-c), Malondialdehyde(MDA), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST). The result shows that the TC, TG, LDL-c, MDA, ALT, AST levels of the model group increased, while the HDL-c level decreased, and therefore proves the modeling was successful. Comparing to the model groups, the TC, TG, LDL-c, MDA, ALT, AST levels of the drug groups decreased in different degrees while the HDL-c level increased. However, the water-extract of Swertia mussotii Franch with the amount of 1229.64 mg/kg·d and the petroleum ether-extract of Swertia mussotii Franch with the amount of 409.88mg/kg·d are absolutely effective doseage on antihyperlipidemic action.
