The Clinical Research Of Wind-heat Type Of Acute Upper Respiratory Infections By Jian Wei Minor Bupleurum Decoction

Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of jian wei minor bupleurum decoction on wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections.By verifying the effectiveness of this decoction,clinical evidence can be provided to treat wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections.New treatment will be supported by illustrating the basic theory of jian wei minor bupleurum decoction in wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections.Methods:70 cases are randomly designed into 2 groups:the treatment group(jian wei xiao chai hu decoction for 37 cases) and the control group(Compound Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Tablets and Ribavirin tablets which are the positive drugs for 33 cases).Both groups are marked on both the guideline of new drug of TCM inclinical study,2002 and The criteria of diagnosis and effect of internal diseases and syndromes in TCM PRC,2012 about wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections.At the end of the clinical bservation,total efficacy and symptoms signs will be compared between groups.Theory discussion:Combined with Treatise on Febrile Diseases,physiology and pathology of shaoyang demonstrate the disease location, and pathogenesis and nature disease of shaoyang demonstrate the relationship of Shaoyang disease and jian wei minor bupleurum decoction.By proving the analysis of syndromes,pulse and tongue,application range can be demonstrated.Based on the nature of Shaoyang diseases,the relationship between Shaoyang diseases and wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections can be discussed.Results:It has no statistical difference between jian wei minor bupleurum decoction treating wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections and compound Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Tablets and Ribavirin tablets of control group.Both groups have efficacy equivalence,and the former is superior to the latter group in treating nasal discharge,cough,sputum,thirst.They have the same meaning in causes,pathogenesis and nature between the beginning of Shaoyang diseases and wing-heat cold.Conclusion: jian wei minor bupleurum decoction has a better efficacy in treating wind-heat type of acute upper respiratory infections, which can be used in treating this kind of disease. It has the similar pathogenesis in Shaoyang disease and wind heat cold. As a result, Shaoyang reconciliation and dispelling wind and heat can be recognized as the main treatment of wind heat cold.
