| Objective: By moxibustion on patients who complain of Cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type and comparing with needling, we observe the influence of moxibustion on vertebrobasilar artery blood flow velocity and provide objective basis for the use of moxibustion for Cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type in clinical practice. Methods: 100 cases were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. Blood flow velocity changes of BA, bilateral VA as shown in the two groups by TCD were observed before and after treatment. And the data were statistically analyzed by t-test to observe if there are differences between the two groups. Results: Clinical studies have shown that BA high velocity type have significant differences in observation group after the treatment by t-test(P<0.01). There are significant differences of BA high velocity type between the two groups(P<0.05). Clinical studies have shown that VA high and low velocity type have significant differences in observation group after the treatment by t-test(P<0.05). There haven’t significant differences of VA high and low velocity type between the two groups(P>0.05). There haven’t significant differences of BA high velocity type after the treatment and between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: There is significant improvement of vertebrobasilar blood flow velocity on patients with Cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type by moxibustion. So we have provided clinical objective basis for the use of moxibustion for Cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type. |
