| Objective:This research is to investigate the constitution classification of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) in 750 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and to explore the intrinsic relationship between the development of and constitution of T2 DM. Providing the law of the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine and the development of type 2 diabetes.Methods: Through the clinical questionnaire, selected patients who see the doctor in October, 2013 to 2014 09 month in the Chinese medicine hospital in Jining city, according to diagnostic criteria for diabetes, TCM constitution standard classification, collection of type 2 diabetic patients gender, age, body mass index(BMI), fasting blood glucose(FPG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc), total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein(LDL-C), high density lipoprotein(HDL-C), creatinine(Cr), ECG and other related indicators, observation of physical distribution in patients with type 2 diabetes, disease relationship between type 2 diabetes and TCM constitution. And the use of SPSS17.0 on the physicochemical indicators for statistical analysis.Results:(1)In this study, 750 cases were selected, with normal constitution occupy a certain proportion, yin-asthenia constitution in Chinese medicine in the majority and then qi-asthenia constitution, phlegm-dampness constitution. The other constitution according to the proportion of from high to low are in the following order: damp-heat constitution, yang-asthenia constitution,static-blood constitution, normal constitution, energy stagnant constitution, special natural disposition.(2) The influence factors such as age, course of disease in patients of physical distribution existence. The minimum age, course of disease statistics of the shortest proof of yin-asthenia constitution, yin-asthenia constitution may be diabetes appears the earliest types of constitution, there is statistical significance compared with other 5 kinds of constitution, P < 0.05.(3)There is no statistical significance of 6 main constitution differences between FPG(P>0.05). The 6 main types of constitution of BMI from low to high were: phlegm-dampness constitution, qi-asthenia constitution, damp-heat constitution, static-blood constitution, yin-asthenia constitution; in blood lipid: phlegm-dampness constitution with higher levels of TC, TG higher average levels of qi-asthenia constitution. ECG abnormality rate of static-blood constitution is higher than the other 5 groups. Conclusions:(1) The common constitution in patients with type 2 diabetes is: yin-asthenia constitution, qi-asthenia constitution, phlegm-dampness constitution, damp-heat constitution, yang-asthenia constitution,static-blood constitution, of which the most yin-asthenia constitution.(2) The minimum age, course of disease and yin-asthenia constitution is the shortest, that the age of patients, duration and other factors on the physical distribution may affect.(3) FPG of Yin-asthenia constitution is the lowest between 6 constitutions, TC of phlegm-dampness constitution is the highest. There is no significant difference between high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, renal function in the 6 kinds constitutions. In the 6 kinds constitution, BMI of phlegm-dampness constitution is the highest, that of phlegm-dampness constitution are mostly found in overweight or obese person.(4) In the 6 kinds constitution, FPG, HbA1 c, Cr, BUN, blood pressure, electrocardiogram abnormal rate of static-blood constitution is the highest, quality may be poor prognosis tips, prompting the static-blood constitution may have poor prognosis. |
