The Clinical Ressarch Of The Influence Of Da-Moxibustion To ESR And CRP In Treating AS

Object: To observe the clinical effect of Da-Moxibustion therapy in treating ankylosing spondylitis(AS), analyze the influence on ESR and CRP of the blood, and to explore a new effective way for the treatment of AS. Method: 40 patients with AS were divided into a treatment group and a control group at random. 20 cases were treated with Da-Moxibustion therapy as the treatment group,while the other 20 cases were treated with Du-Moxibustion as the control group, which were treated once a month for 3 months. And then observed the changes of symptoms, signs, ESR and CRP of patients before and after the treatment, and analyzed the numbers with statistic method to draw conclusions. Result:1. There was very significant difference before and after treatment in each group with symptom-score comparison(P<0.01), there was significant difference after treatment between the two groups with symptom-score comparison(P<0.05), The treatment group is superior to the control group.2. There was significant difference before and after treatment in each group with sign-score comparison(P<0.05), there was no significant difference after treatment between the two groups with symptom-score comparison(P>0.05).3. There was very significant difference before and after treatment of the treatment group with the improvement of ESR and CRP(P<0.01), while there was very significant difference before and after treatment of the control group with the improvement of ESR(P<0.01), there was significant difference before and after treatment of the control group with the improvement of CRP(P<0.05), there was significant difference after treatment between the two groups(P<0.05), the treatment group is superior to the treatment group.4. Both of the two methods can improve the clinical symptoms(P<0.05) effectively, The effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0% while the control group was 75.0%. The treatment group is superior to the control group. Conclusion:The Da-Moxibustion therapy can improve the clinical symptoms and signs effectively, and can control the imflammatory index(ESR and CRP), and it is a safe and effective method to treat AS which worhes to be promoted clinically.
