Clinical Study On Du-moxibustion In Treating Ankylosing Spondylitis By Inhibiting Gene Expression Of HLA-B27

Objective To observe the effect on gene expression of HLA-B27 in treating Ankylosing Spondylitis with Du-moxibustion. Metheds 60 patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis and positive HLA-B27 were divided into two groups by random,among these patients,test group(30 cases) were treated by du-moxibustion,dietotherapy and functional exercise,control group(30 cases) were treated only by dietotherapy and functional exercise. A course of treatment was three months for both groups.The levels of HLA-B27,natural killer(NK) cell,estradiol(E2)> erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and C reactive protein(CRP) were detected before and after a course of treatment for each group.Results Du-moxibustion can improve clinical symptoms, main physical signs and laborary markers of patients obviously,especially in inhibiting the gene expression of HLA-B27,the difference was significant compared to the control group;Meanwhile,the level of NK cell was ascended,the levels of ESR and CRP were descended compared to that of the pretherapy,and the difference was significant compared to the control group.lt showed the efficiency of test group is significantly superior to that of control group in adjusting the immunological function and endocrine system. Conclusion Du-moxibustion in treating Ankylosing Spondylitis has certain effect by inhibiting the gene expression of HLA-B27 in adjusting immunological function and endocrine system,and anti-inflammation and analgesic effect.
