Influence Of “Shen Zong Granule”on Micro-inflammatory State In Children With Damp-heat Type Of Nephrotic Syndrome

Objectives:Due to the effective improvement by shen zong granule,the current study is purposed to analyze the relationship of primary nephrotic syndrome(hereinafter called as PNS), inflammatory factors and lipid metabolism disorders.Through the experience on the clinic and laboratory,this research mainly focus on the clinical effect of shen zong granule on micro-inflammatory state in children with damp-heat type of nephrotic syndrome,try to find out the improving mechanism,and provide evidences for clinical applications.Methods:40 cases with PNS in accord with diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(n=20) and control group(n=20),with the treatment of two months.24-hour urinary protein excretion,serum albumin,serum total cholesterol, triglycerides and high-sensitivity C- anti-protein levels are detected in pre-and post medication.The experimental research:successful modeling rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=15):normal group, model group,hormone group,shen zong granule group,hormone and shen zong granule group.Each group was respectively intervened by hormone,shen zong granule or hormone and shen zong granule.When the experiment went to the 8th weeks,blood collection was performed from abdominal artery to detect IL-1、IL-6、TNF-α、NF-k B、CRP and so on.Partial portions of the kidney tissue were collected to observe pathological morphology.Results:Through clinical study and comparing with post-treatment,hormone and shen zong granule can increase obviously the level of serum albumin(P<0.05)and reduce the level of 24-hour urinary protein excretion,serum total cholesterol and triglycerides and high-sensitivity C- anti-protein.Through experimental study,hormone and shen zong granule can reduce obviously the level of NF-k B(P<0.01),IL-1β(P<0.01),TNF-α(P<0.01),IL-6(P>0.05),CRP(P>0.05).Conclusions:Micro-inflammatory state in children with nephrotic syndrome have close relationship with damp-heat status.The increasement of pro-inflammatory cytokines are the most important pathogenesis for micro-inflammatory state in children with damp-heat type of nephrotic syndrome.Hormone and shen zong granule can micro-inflammatory state in children with damp-heat type of nephrotic syndrome.The mechanism maybe have relationship with the increase of albumin level,reducing proteinuria,enhancing immunity,decreasing the level of total cholesterol,triglycerides and CRP and suppressing IL-1β、TNF-ɑ、IL-6、NF-k B. The followed conclusions were obtained from the study:the effect of hormone and shen zong granule is more beneficial than hormone only.
