Observation And Analysis Of The Application Of External Fixator In The Treatment Of Children With Limbs Near The Metaphyseal Fracture

Objective: Through the observation of external fixator in the treatment of metaphyseal fractures of the limbs of children near the postoperative curative effect and analysis of children’s treatment principles and methods of metaphyseal fractures,to provide the reference for the clinical application of external fixation in treatment of children proximal metaphyseal fractures.Method: To review and analyse of 33 cases,which using external fixator in the treatment of proximal metaphyseal fractures of the limbs of children in our hospital pediatric department of orthopedics ward in January 2012- Decembe 2014, in these cases, 15 cases of closed reduction and 18 cases of open reduction; 4 cases of open fracture, closed fracture 29 cases; 24 cases were male patients, 9 cases of female children;1 case was the distal fracture of ulna and radius,2 cases were distal femur fractures, 1 case was the proximal fracture of tibia and fibula and 29 cases were distal fractures of tibia and fibula. Through the review of follow-up after operation, master the condition of the recovery of the patients.Results: According the postoperative score display, 32 cases showed the excellent effect, good in 0 cases, medium in 0 cases, poor in 1 cases, the excellent and good rate was 96.97%Conclusion: Application of external fixator in the treatment of metaphyseal fractures of the limbs of children nearly showed significant effect,which is an ideal treatment method.
