Clinical Intervention Research Of Qiliqiangxin Capsule On Diabetic Cardiomyopathy With Heart Failure

Objective: To study effects of Qiliqiangxin capsules on diabetic cardiomyopathy cardiac function in patients with heart failure, quality of life, inflammatory cytokines IL-10, Hs-CRP and TNF-α. Discuss clinical efficacy of Qiliqiangxin capsule and possible mechanisms of diabetic cardiomyopathy with heart failure.Methods: 80 hospitalized patients of Diabetic cardiomyopathy with heart failure were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.To observe the quality of life of patients, improvement of cardiac function, changes in plasma inflammatory cytokines IL-10, Hs-CRP and TNF-α in the control group of conventional medical therapy and intervention group on the basis medical therapy of taking Qiliqiangxin capsules(4, tid) for two weeks before and after treatment. using the Minnesota table questionnaires to determine the quality of life, clinical symptoms,6-minute walk test, echocardiography measurement of left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV) and end-systolic volume(LVESV), calculate left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) to evaluate cardiac function improvements. Plasma inflammatory cytokines IL-10, Hs-CRP and TNF-α were assessed by double antibody sandwich.Results:1.Effects on cardiac function after treatment;. There were no significant differences in Syndromes, clinical symptoms, NYHA class, 6-minute walk test between two groups before treatment. After treatment, Syndromes, clinical symptoms, NYHA class, 6-minute walk test were improved than before treatment(P <0.05), but the treatment group is significantly improved than the control group(P <0.05).2.The impact on the quality of life of patients; There was no significant difference between two groups before treatment. the quality of life scores have statistically significant before and after treatment in two groups. There was significant difference in the quality of life of patients in both groups and statistically significant improvement after treatment than control groups(P <0.05).3.Effects on each index echocardiography: There were no significant differences in left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV),and left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV) between two groups. Which were decreased after treatment. Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) was increased. There were no significant differences before and after treatment in control group(P >0.05).4.Changes of inflammatory cytokines; There were no significant differences in IL-10, Hs-CRP and TNF-α before treatment. Hs-CRP and TNF-α were significantly decreased. But IL-10 was significantly improved between two groups after treatment. There was still a statistically significant difference after treatment between two groups.Conclusion: Qi li qiangxin capsules can improve Syndromes indexes and cardiac function in diabetic cardiomyopathy in patients with heart failure, improve quality of life, reduce diabetic cardiomyopathy, plasma inflammatory response and improve cardiac remodeling.
