Objective:We used the Montreal cognitive assessment scale (MoCA) to analysis and comparison the patients who was suffering from subcortical arteriosclerotic encephalopathy (SAE) or Lacunar infarction (CLI) patients with cognitive impairment, in order to help the clinical diagnosis.Methods:We selected 165 patients met the inclusion criteria, including 76 cases of SAE patients,89 CLI patients.Recording the demographic data of the two groups, and the research object do the MoCA test.we recorded seven cognitive domain scores and the total score of MoCA, to compare the scores of the SAE group and CLI group, the data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 statistical software.Results:(1)MoCA score of the SAE group and CLI group were lower than the normal standard; (2) SAE patients showed worse than the frontal lobe CLI patients in the visual space and execution, naming performance;worse than the parietal lobe CLI patients in the naming performance,and the SAE had the lower scores in MoCA;worse than the temporal lobe CLI patients in the delayed recall and orientationperformance;worse than the ccipital lobe patients in the naming performance,and the SAE had the lower scores in MoCA;worse than the basal ganglia CLI in the orientationperformance;worse than the thalamus CLI in the naming performance,but the thalamus CLIpatients’language ability was worse;worse than the cerebellum CLI patients in the naming, abstract, orientation, total score performance,but the cerebellum CLI patients’language ability was worse;worse than the brainstem CLI patients in the visual space and execution, naming performance;worse than the periventricular CLI patients in the naming performance;worse than the semioval center CLI patients in the visual space and execution, naming, delayed recall, abstrac performance.Conclusions:The study found that, Compared with CLI, SAE patients damage much serious In visual spatial executive function, abstract, memory, naming, directional force (P<0.05),the visual spatial executive function is obvious (P<0.000); In the aspect of calculation and attention,the occipital lobe CLI damaged more serious than SAE;In the aspect of language,the thalamicCLI andcerebellar CLI damaged more serious than SAE;Compared with the parietal CLI and occipital CLI, SAE damaged more serious.
