Over the years, as people put forward higher request to the quality and value oflife, they are no longer merely satisfied with the quality of life. They also focus onthe final stage. It is in this request that hospice care gradually rise. Hospice care isnot only the human pursuit of a higher quality of life, but also the embodiment of thecontinuous development of human civilization. For the last three decades, significant progress has been made in hospice care inour country, but in practice, Chinese hospice encountered some ethical conflicts, which plagued the development of hospice. Especially in the period of socialtransition, the conflict between Chinese traditional culture and the emerging culturemakes the hospice care face many difficulties. The fundamental reason is that thehospice itself does not have relatively stable value principles and ethical principles,This article from the perspective of, by looking for the bioethics basis of hospicecare, makes people rediscover the principal status and dignity of the dying person.inorder to provide a way out for hospice to overcome adversity.Firstly, the connotation, characteristics, development history of hospice areintroduced in the article, on this basis, The article further explains the necessity ofthe Ethical examination of hospice care. The discussion of connotation andcharacteristics of hospice care mainly determine the object, means and purpose ofhospice care,on the basis of defining the related concepts, such as the dying, dyingperiod and so on. About the formation and development of hospice care, internationally, hospice care was originally a religious, non-profit charity. In themodern sense of hospice care,it rised in the UK, founded by Dr. Sanders, afterdeveloped into a worldwide social utility. In China, although the traditional cultureAlways contains the idea of hospice, but it truly become a discipline until the 1980s.So far, many cities have set up the hospice care institutions. The necessity ofthe Ethical examination of hospice care is mainly discussed from four aspects:theinherent requirements of the hospice, the objective requirements of China toaccelerate the aging process, the requirements for disease spectrum change and theinevitable requirement of development of human civilization.Secondly, the ethical issues faced by hospice are analyzed, of which the mostimportant reason is that the shackles of traditional culture, specifically are: Firstly, ethical problems caused by the inaccurate definition of "hospice". whetherpremature or too late, will have many negative effects. Secondly, the conflictbetween hospice palliative care and traditional concept of filial piety"overtreatment". In the tradition of filial piety, In order to make yourself at ease, even if therapy for patients with no significant effect, hospitals and children stilladhere to the treatment for the patient. However,More attention to the quality of lifeof patients, hospice care hope that patients can be at ease at the end of thelife.Thirdly,The third, the conflict between "Death is unfortunate" of traditionalthan atopsis and the death of hospice.Different from the traditional thought ofavoiding death, hospice care of the patient’s own rights and wishes,as the main body;Fourth, the conflict between traditional medicine concept "saving lives"and fairdistribution of the medical resources, Hospice care refused uselesstreatment.Soothing care treatment is not only a respect for patient autonomy, butalso an effective way for a fair allocation of medical resources,is respect for morehuman beings.Again, illustrates the foundation of hospice care of life ethics, respectively tosupport from bioethics hospice care main body and the dignity of the hospicecare.Although dying will soon be towards the end of your life, but its nature has notchanged as a person,Subjectivity is an inherent property of man himself,Therefore, dying is still belongs to the existence of subjectivity. As the existence ofsubjectivity, the dying has the right to look for the quality of life,to choose the wayof life and their treatment methods,to determine their way towards the end of the life.Only in this way can maintain the dignity of life. Therefore,as a social publicservice, the purpose of hospice care is to make the dying with dignity to the end oflife. Finally,In view of the plight of hospice in practice,The article puts forward theprinciple of hospice care on the basis of bioethics. On the one hand,to establish thevalue of hospice principles of human dignity, for the hospice provides a guide to allthe principles of the concept; on the other hand, under the guiding principles ofvalue, reconstructing the ethical principles of hospice care. At the same time, deatheducation should also be carried out.Only in this way can the opinion of death befundamentally changed, thus lays a foundation for the development of hospice care.
