Objective: Through the observation of clinical cases, study the relative factors of the blood loss with TKA in perioperation. Methods: 48 cases(50 knees) of Joint Department of Orthopedics of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital 2013.05-2015.01 with a group of physicians completed TKA were reviewed, summarize and analyze, and record the relative factors, including height, weight, weight index, the merger of the basic internal diseases, iconography classification, types of prosthesis, operative approach, according to the patient’s own weight, height and preoperative postoperative blood test data to calculate the blood loss with TKA in perioperation. According to the statistical analysis study the clinical relativity. Results: 48 cases(50 knees)’ surgeries went well and had good recovery, incisions are I / Grade healing, infection, dislocation, fractures and so did not appear. The total blood loss of the 50 knees in perioperation is 652.58 ± 102.70 ml in average. All patients were transfusion of 2u allogeneic blood((1 U = 200 mL whole blood volume). Clinical data demonstrated that age, weight index, the merger of the basic internal diseases, iconography classification, types of prosthesis are relative with the blood loss with TKA in perioperation, indicated that the patients’ age over 70 years of age, weight index greater than 30 Kg / m 2, combined department of internal medicine disease, the higher iconography classification, the Knee prosthesis of PS increase the blood loss with TKA in perioperation. But the different perative approaches in TKA are not difference of statistics. Conclusion: Age, weight index, the merger of the basic internal diseases, iconography classification, types of prosthesis are relative with the blood loss with TKA in perioperation.
